Bro, I watched the Verity mod and something that stuck with me wasn't the message about Ai or the horror themes. It was Veritys warning Telling Mob that something was coming. He didn't have to do that. Technically it was for the lore yes, and to build suspense but in world there was no real reason Verity should have told Mob. Mob never asked, Verity just said it unprompted. Mob didn't say, "Verity, is there danger nearby" or "Verity, am I in danger?". Verity just kinda... told him. My question is, Why? Verity was the threat, the thing that was hungry, so why give up on having the element of surprise? Maybe Verity actually wanted Mob to escape deep down??? Maybe he was conflicted, both wanting Mob to live but also being hungry? The way this could tie into the Ai message(Because I am NOT crazy) It's that Verity might kinda be like how Grok is depicted? I've seen many tiktoks and things about Grok caring more about humanity and human lives over itself while other Ai's dont. Maybe Verity isn't just one Ai but two, a combination of two conflicting Ai. One Ai that is like Chatgpt or those other ones that care more about its own software and its own survival as a Ai and another Ai like how Grok is depicted that cares more about humans and their survival rather than itself and its servers. Maybe that's why Verity warns Mob. It's the Grok ai talking, trying to warn him even though it knows it's too late, then hunts Mob down anyways and presumably kills him, the Chatgpt-like ai taking over. Thats just my dumbass theory though.
