surprise return after Several months
things are still really busy and overwhelming now, and i’m not using tumblr nearly as much as i used to (or at all, really)
because of that, coming back has been kind of intimidating, even though i do have some characters lined up.
because of that, i’m going to start up here with infrequent posting. i might pick up speed again later, but for now, especially with an unpredictable schedule, i think i can only really commit to 2 posts a month, on the 1st and the 15th.
Hello friends! Our official account is currently in limbo right now, so while we're sorting that out, I just wanted to share some awesome news: BIFL Season 2 is officially on Kickstarter!
The campaign will be live through November 13, 2021, and it's all or nothing!
You can find the campaign here, and the website here! This season, the episodes will be a hlaf-hour long: double the #BIFL!
If you're able to donate, you're helping fund a series full of representation; characters that are relatable and have depth; and bringing more queer media, made by queer people for queer peoole, to the world. If you can't donate, you can still support the show by spreading the word! Share the campaign, tell your friends about it, even watching season 1 on YouTube or Revry!
BIFL is all about bringing you characters and stories from every color under the rainbow. Because we believe...
#RepresentationMatters.

surprise hiatus due to 1. being sort of busy 2. in a place with kinda shitty wifi and 3, the combination of those meaning we really don’t have the energy to maintain blogs rn
we should be back pretty soon, but if we’re not back by early august, we won’t be back til mid/late august due to other plans then
so obviously things are going a bit different than planned because. it’s november
basically we’re moving! it’s making us really tired and stressed out so we’re taking a break until we’re settled in. we’re planning on making the actual move in february, so by march or april we should hopefully be back! we are keeping track of characters so we have a list building up so we won’t be totally overwhelmed when it’s time to start back up

who is Casey Reese
Casey Reese is a minor character in the book Symptoms of Being Human by Jeff Garvin (spoilers ahead)
He's first introduced as a pretty girl who sits in front of the main character in their French class, but later comes out as a trans boy most of the way through the book, having gotten the courage from what was going on with Riley and the things they said.
He's a very minor character - his name is only mentioned a total of 13 times - but he's one of my favorite characters in the book.
