❛    we  have  to  talk ,    jess .    ❜    a  deep  breathe  was  issued  afterwards .    what  nancy  had  discovered  about  a  month  ago  was  something  that  truthfully  had  shaken  her  to  the  core .    she  was  twenty  one  years  old  and  it  had  been  a  year  since  pamela  had  passed .    a  year  since  she  had  been  brought  into  michelle ,   stephanie  and  donna - jo’s  lives .    it  was  a  change  that  had  shaken  nancy  and  turned  her  life  in  a  different  direction .    whilst  she  wasn’t  interested  in  having  children ,    she  wanted  to  have  a  career  and  chase  it .    her  house  in  castle  rock  was  feeling  less  and  less  like  home  and  truthfully ,    nancy  had  been  looking  at  areas  in  san  fransisco  to  be  closer  to  jesse .    it  seemed  that  things  were  falling  into  place  for  her .    until  that  stick  turned  pink .

 𝐅𝐔𝐍 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐓 :    a  small  but  very  relevant  headcanon  about  nancy .    after  her  time  in  the  upside  down ,    she  used  a  dove  soap  bar  in  the  shower  to  rid  herself  of  the  muck she  was  clad  in .    after  that  incident ,    nancy  threw  all  the  soap  in  the  garbage  and  told  her  mother  that  she  was allergic  to  it so  that  her  mother  would  change  the  soap  brand .    it  reminded  her  of  that  traumatic  time  and  the  flashbacks  she  was  having  during  that  shower .    if  nancy  is  to  come  across  that  scent  or  sight  of that  soap  it  triggers  her  ptsd .
