I live in farm country and see the dinkiest farm trucks hauling shit the size of a battleship. And those trucks are mostly older and beat to shit on the outside but functioning perfectly, with sound frames, good suspension even with a lot of weight, no rust, and doors that will let you out of the goddamn vehicle. I understand some of the flaws with the Cybertruck are not completely accurately represented in the criticism, but there are things that simply aren't excusable. That it escaped testing with so many of those is pretty damning.

I just think people never truly stopped seeing identity as this thing where you accumulate +1 oppression points if you are a certain thing, when in reality identity is social/behavioral and impacts what you can and can't do, yes, but also what you choose to do...like the choices you make and what you enjoy factor into it. And if we discard identity as a useful metric for political "radicalness" (aka 'existence is radical') then we have to just focus on what people are actually doing. Which is often more interesting and also less clear...because people do shit for all kinds of weird reasons!!!!!!!

This is gorgeous. Paintings and figurines are helpful but seeing the clothes being worn and IN THE SUNSHINE!!

The fabric is glorious and you see the drape of the cloth during movement.

Fine, I think every museum needs a team of people to walk around wearing replicas of clothes. This would be amazing for kids on school trips.
