pretty much explains my life
Sometimes I just put a hockey game on tv because I like the noise of it, Iām not really watching, Iām just enjoy it..?
watch the stars with me
Watch the Dallas Stars with me
why am i always so surprised when hockey players wear glasses like. i know in my mind that theyre just as susceptible to bad eyesight as the rest of us but like, in my heart, they look like those hot fake geek boys in moviesĀ
Oh Canada, I guess a Canadian team did make the playoffs after all.
two 21 year olds are playing goalie in the eastern conference finals and im sitting here trying to remember what i had for breakfast

On my laptop tumblr logged me out and wanted me to reset my password. I canāt do that cause I donāt have access to my old email. Iām still logged in on my phone. Itās been an hour and Iāve had no help from support. This is dumb. @staff
I havenāt been back on my laptop but there hasnāt been an email yet from support. Hereās to hoping this gets solved tomorrow @staff Side note: this happened at 6pm pacific time and itās now midnight. Why is there no 24 hour support. This website is not a small niche market.
I might be a little absent cause this is currently happening

Jenny Scrivens retires; opting for family over ādream jobā
By Jen Neale
Jenny Scrivens checked her phone as the text message arrived. It read: āI have this crazy idea. Call me when you get a minute.ā
It was from Dani Rylan, then-New York Riveters general manager and National Womenās Hockey League commissioner.
It was July 2015. A week earlier, Scrivens joined on to the newly formed - and very much a startup - NWHL to work on public relations for the league remotely from her home in Edmonton, Alberta, where she lived with her husband, Ben, who was a goaltender for the Edmonton Oilers at the time.
This ācrazy ideaā text from Rylan marked the first of several Scrivens would receive as a part of the NWHL.
This time, though, it was about her. The Riveters had one goaltending spot open on their roster. Rylan wanted Scrivens to fill it.
āI kind of laughed it off at first,ā said Scrivens in an interview with Puck Daddy. āI havenāt played in six years. Iām not at this level ⦠Yoga and walking my dog does not a hockey player make.ā
She told Rylan sheād think about it. She didnāt even mention it to Ben until the next night when it popped into her mind while getting ready for bed, saying, āSo, Dani has this crazy idea, and I talked to her on the phone. I have chance to play hockey in Brooklyn next year.ā I laughed ⦠and rolled my eyes.
Benās reaction? He said, āWell, why not? You should do it.ā

[Jenny Scrivens is] very cognizant of attempting to not use āwifeā or āgirlfriendā when discussing relationships. As she puts it, āWe need to change the way we talk about athletesā partners and spouses if weāre truly going to create change and acceptance in sports. Stop saying āhockey wivesā and stop saying āWAGS,ā because one day thereās going to be a man in the āwives roomā and Iād be ashamed if weāre not prepared for it.ā
