Some animals from my garden, today: 

Great tailed grackle

Horsefly-like carpenter bee 

Eastern carpenter bee

Spotless ladybird beetle 

Sunflower aphids

Green anole

Beeblossom aphids

There were also more honeybees than you could count, eastern bordered plant bugs, love bugs, tropical checkered skippers, a very fast southern carpenter bee, and a couple of monarchs.

This bird is the only member of its family.

Its closest living relative is the Kagu of New Caldeonia.
