he is actually a very funny guy... his sense of humor is just sarcastic and dry. my favorite ones are the "i wonder if they'll notice a flaming wreck in the middle of the road" (cliffhanger) and "the horse could've won, jumped the fence, do a 360 and kick the queen on the face" (journal).
he saw his fng self in roach, and was happy for roach and price to get to make a mission together (contingency, even if they had done missions together before but well the lore is very messy lmao)
he really wanted the extra mile for tf141, he mentioned that he wanted another level of recruits. it lowkey saddens me how he had to see the task force he built getting disavowed and not being able to see his name getting cleared.
plus: part of his training after cod4 consisted on running along selection candidates, and idk why but its such a funny thing for me to imagine lmao

ok so, og soap was part of the parachute regiment in the 3rd battalion before SAS, before 2011. during his time in the 3 para he was part of op banner with at least 1 tour on northern ireland. op banner was a real life thing occurred from '69 to '07, which means that he had to have his deployment between 2006 or early 2007 (or before, i am just considering that he passed selection in 2011, and that the selection process had to be done in 2010-2011 depending when cod4 events occur), and of course assuming the operations are the same (i mean, if they used 9/11 for ghost's story why couldn't this be possible for soap). so considering the previous, soap had to be enlisted before 2006 (army training and then being assigned to the 3 para, i guess), maybe between 2004 and 2005, since soap is a very outstanding soldier, he was even field commander of his troop during his ireland deployment. if he had enlisted at 18, he had to be born around 1986-1987, or before.

i have such a hatred for the cod movie. the only way i could like it is for captain mactavish to appear butt naked. but to me, that movie is going to be utter shit 1) because it will be reboot mw 2) if its og mw they will find a way to include reboot mw 3) reboot mw. please god help us all
maybe im just a hater, but i do not like the idea of another modern warfare project that will bury deeper the og, such a waste. i hope it ends up being ur regular basic war story, but it will be such a waste as well
i also hate the idea of og mw with the reboot actors. love them, but just no.... stay in the reboot. id rather watch the reboot actors with the reboot story
