She glances up to see who it was and came to a stop.
Well, we’re on the same page then. I didn’t know there were other people here too. Why are you here though?
I didn't want to go home. Why are you here?

Well, we’re on the same page then. I didn’t know there were other people here too. Why are you here though?
I didn't want to go home. Why are you here?
*watching the grounds below*
*chuckles then wide eyes* What? No! No! I was being truthful! You are! I’m not the one to lie! If I didn’t think so, I wouldn’t have said anything at all.
Well, um, thanks. I think that's nice of you to say so.
Well you’ve had to have made friends here, haven’t you heard your friends are the family you get to choose. Spend it with them.
They have families of their own to spend the holidays with, and my friends aren't here.
Some people are different, 'kay? I don't like Christmas, never have never will.
He didn’t respond to her moving over to his table. He looked up and then went back to reading his book.
Cara let out a brief chuckle, hearing the annoyance in her tone. "That's a little rude, don't you think?"
Leah, and yours?
Cara.
Pleasure to be of your acquaintance, Leah. What year are you in?
The hallways were empty since mostly everyone was gone for Christmas. She wasn’t worried about seeing anyone here, after all they must be with their family having a good time.
Hey. I didn't think anyone else was here.
Too old for Christmas? Christmas doesn’t necessarily have to mean you’re a child or be about gifts. It’s just about spending time with family and friends, aren’t you at least excited for that?
My parents are a pain in the backside to spend time with, so no.
Well that’s why I’m staying anyway.
What's your name?
Yes, are you excited for the holidays?
Not really. Getting a little too old for Christmas.
I'm assuming you are though.
Because I thought it was in English since there was no title on the book.
Fair enough.
Do you have any idea what language it might be?
Varies from moment to moment really.
Thank goodness I don't have any siblings. If you two didn't have any abilities, you probably wouldn't go for the same universities, right?
Because it’s something I don’t talk about often.
Should've just said so. I didn't mean to pry on your personal matters.
She ran away to London.
We are in London.
He noticed that the girl a table away was asking if he was okay? “I’m fine.” he said short and simple “Carry on with your studies, I’ll do the same.” he brushed her off.
She raised her eyebrow, her lips quavering into a small smirk. Cara got up from her seat, and walked over to his table. "Well something is bothering you."
To cover up hickeys and a scar or two, yeah.
Somebody has been playing rough. Scar?
*watching the grounds below*
Well he is very lucky to have you as a friend! Very luck indeed.
You are too kind! You go on any more and you might just reduce me to a blush. And what about yourself? You probably certainly turn a few heads!
Thanks, I guess?
Alright then – that's my cue to stop talking. Oh, come on, Dave. You're just saying that to compliment me in return.
He sat at the library concentrating on his studies, when he could feel a gaze on him. It wasn’t like he wasn’t use to it, everyone stared at him, mostly the ladies. It irritated him a bit, so instead of reading, his eyes looked up to meet whoever it was that seemed to find it ‘so ever polite’ to stare at someone.
Cara sat at one of the tables by the window, and felt the chill of winter air on her skin. As she slipped her dark-red hoodie back on, Cara eyed at one of the boys sat at table across from her. He looked quite irritated, but what could possibly irritate the boy, she wondered. "Hello?" Cara spoke softly as soon as he caught her gaze, "You alright there mate?"
