c!Dream would have an Eevee. I don’t make the rules it’s vibes.
Anyone can have an eevee tbh its part of the point of an eevee. Motion approved
Well, mostly approved. Pokémon AUS in a DSMP context are always SO fun to me. They’re kind of your greatest asset even more than a literal weapon, and not having one makes the world of the pokemon games honestly pretty much unnavigable, because you can’t go through the tall grass without getting ambushed. However, at the same time, Pokémon are more than attack dogs or pets—they’re repeatedly emphasized across the games and anime as companions and friends and often referenced as having an intelligence similar to humans (and like, pretty explicitly are equal to humans in sapience in the anime, considering telepathic Pokémon and that one episode where they spoke and got subtitled over). They’re very much actual allies you forge close connections to, and as such are a huge fucking target for someone like c!Dream.
Ifl it’s hard for him to come out of Pandora with his whole team intact—they’d be recognizable Pokémon, and if he stashed them all away beforehand then the staged finale would be too obvious an act. This puts post prison c!Dream in a really tricky conundrum where he both has to rebuild a team to stand a chance at all at defending himself, but also know that each of these new connections will be put in danger and used against him after his paranoia is already through the roof on account of the. Y’know. Torture and all. Ifl Dream SMP specifically doesn’t lend itself well to a super competitive Pokémon worldbuilding—it’s just kind of too sparsely populated and wild for me to really think anyone is out here competing in tourneys and building a team with a focus on competition with a maybe exception of c!Techno in his backstory pre-SMP or whatever, so while there are still “strong”er and “weak”er Pokémon ifl most characters would essentially be making do with whatever they catch in the wild. The competitive statistics just wouldn’t matter so much. But post-prison c!Dream needs to choose his new team carefully, out of sight, while agonizing over how wise it is to bring in even more leverage that can be used against him. Fun!
(I dont think he catches it :()
