that one part in the song “twenty long years” by Lord Huron. at the end when you hear the cheering and all the glasses clinking and they’re all singing the line “I’ve gotta get away out of this mess”. BRO THAT SHIT HITS SO HARD AND FOR WHATT. LIKE.

i also love how it’s so down to personal interpretation. like. i see it as the singer making a song about needing to get away, and their family make fun of them for having these dreams because of their “madness” and their “gambling” etc. and so at the end they mock the singer who is talking about needing to get out of it all. and i just love it
