When I got home late at night after a business dinner, my heart suddenly started to race. It was beating uncontrollably, hammering against my chest. I grabbed my chest, I could no longer stand the rapid heartbeats in my left breast. My breathing became shallow, my legs trembled. I reached for my stethoscope - my heart was beating chaotically, irregularly and completely out of control. Panic swept through me. I immediately dialled the emergency number.
The paramedics arrived and attached ECG electrodes to my chest to check my heartbeat.

My body slumped. The paramedics ripped open my dress, exposing my naked chest. Cold defibrillator pads were pressed against my skin.

My heart was jolted by a wave of electricity. Nothing.
I rebelled again, but my heart remained silent.
"Come on, deep chest compressions!" 😰
A paramedic knelt over me, spread his fingers and quickly looked for the right centre of pressure on my chest. Then he put his hands on me and immediately began to apply strong, deep compressions.
"One, two, three, four ...!"
His hands pressed with all their might on my breasts, deep into my chest, mechanically pumping my lifeless heart. I could feel the force of the thrusts, my body and my breasts was shaken with each compression.
