The Eligibility Criteria For Nigerian Award are as Follows:

Applicants for Postgraduate studies should possess a minimum of first degree with Second Class Honours Division. Applicant must be registered Full-Time student of Federal or State Universities.

All other applicants (UG, HND & NCE) must be registered full-time students in their second year or above in Federal or State Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics and Colleges of Education.

All undergraduate Scholarship applicants (Physically challenged inclusive) must have at least 4.0 Cumulative Grade Points Aggregate (CGPA) on a five (5) point scale or its equivalents or 5.0 on a 7 point scale.

Western Sydney International Students Scholarships

Western Sydney International is offering $6,000 and $3,000 multi-year scholarships to new commencing international students enrolling in undergraduate degree coursework programs at Western Sydney University in 2022.

Application information;

No application is necessary. All new applications for admission will be automatically considered for a scholarship. If you are successful, your scholarship offer will be outlined in your Offer of Admission letter.

Eligibility;

Scholarships are granted on academic achievement in a completed Year 12 qualification or equivalent recognised by Western Sydney University for admission.

Applicants must:

be an international student and not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of Australia. If your visa status changes to one of these during the study period, the scholarship will discontinue

commence a new course of study in 2022 for the first time

be applying to study in a CRICOS registered undergraduate degree program

satisfy the academic eligibility requirements for either the $6,000 or $3,000 multi-year scholarship

satisfy all other admission requirements and accept their admission offer.

NYIF Loan: Over 25,000 Youth To Benefit From New Round of Disbursements

The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development is set to begin a fresh round of disbursements of the Nigeria Youth Investment Fund (NYIF) to deserving beneficiaries.

Most of the newly shortlisted beneficiaries from the over 25,000 successful candidates, who are expected to be part of the loan, have confirmed receipt of emails and text messages confirming the approval processes for the scheme and instructions on how to access the funds.

The Nigerian Youth Investment Fund (NYIF) will be disbursed to the beneficiaries within a range of N250,000 (Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira) to N3m (Three Million Naira) depending on the scale of the business and its evaluation.

About 6,000 plus youths benefitted from the first set of disbursements in 2020. The names of the beneficiaries have since been made public.
