Khiare friends!!!! My name is Iris and I'm 21 years old. I've been a King Haides devotee for the past 9 years and just recently welcomes Queen Persephone in my practice as well and I heavily honor Cerberus in my practice as well. I am a Hellenic Polytheist and i am new to speaking about my practice and I use she/her pronouns! It's a pleasure to meet you all and I won't be posting too much here but i look forward to seeing what others post :)

I wish more people could understand that the gods and goddesses of ancient Greece were not just fictional characters that they wrote stories and plays and songs about. They were part of their religion. They were worshipped, prayed to, given sacrifices. The temples were not just there for looks. They were functioning aspects of the religious fabric of the Greek world.

This will just be the first post in this series where I write a list of all the epitets of the king of the underworld that's lesser known to the general public ^-^ The next few posts will discuss the epithets origins and potentially myths that align with it!
