Final drone shot. My @djiglobal Phantom 3 that I use to shoot footage of our 501c3 nonprofit org @dfwservicedogs where we train service dogs for Veterans suffering from PTSD, TBI and mobility issues without charging them anything , was hit with a softball by kids thinking they were being funny. After the drone as struck, I was unable to regain control considering I was fighting the Windmill drafts and the drone collided with a low hanging branch. The drone flipped over and fell to the ground. The roll arm is snapped off and according to the camera shop where I purchased it, the new gimbal and camera parts will cost nearly as much as just buying a new drone. So as heartbroken as I am, I will just have to wait until I can afford a new one to go back to capturing aerial footage of our training events and scenarios as well as my favorite sunset photos.
