Hey I'm finally finished with the Carrie novel and I have a question about the last page. Are Amelia Jenks and Sandra Jenks ever mentioned? Are they random people just to show that the gene is everywhere/can and will happen again, or are they implied to be Carrie's relatives?

They're not mentioned prior. They're thrown in there as a bit of dramatic irony after the State of Maine decides that Carrie was a fluke and could never happen again. Some people like to say that Annie was the reincarnation of Carrie given a second chance at life, but that's just a head canon. Sometimes I subscribe to it, sometimes I don't, lol. Anyways:
