Chipotle & Bucks vs. Rockets Basketball Game- Brotherhood Event (2/4/2014)

Brothers traveled to Milwaukee to see the Bucks host the Houston Rockets on Beard Night in the BMO Harris Bradley Center. The Rockets clinched the game on a pair of clutch free throws from Dwight Howard in a very close game.  The brothers also acquired a total of 12 free t-shirts and 8 complimentary bike lights.

Annual Alumni Football Game (1/18/2014)

The alumni of Carthage College Delta Upsilon eked out a 7 point victory against the active brothers in a hard fought game in the snow.

First Post (1/18/2014)

With my first post, I wanted to thank Mr. Wesley Crisman for getting this tumblr started and doing such an exceptional job as historian. I hope to keep it classy and carry the torch.

Semi-Formal & Initiation (12/6/13-12/8/13)

Saturday December 7th, The Delta Upsilon chapter at Carthage College initiated 15 new members to its chapter. After that, Brothers and their dates enjoyed a meal, a speaker, and a dance to celebrate the successful semester and its newly initiated members.

Formal Orals/Final Vote (11/20/13)

Actives get to ask the associates any question (humorous or serious) they want (associates are not required to answer if they feel uncomfortable). After that, actives hold a vote for the last time for wether or not the associates make it.

All 15 associates passed the vote. Now all that awaits them is the final test and initiation.

Discussion Night (11/18/13)

Brothers sat in a circle sitting and discussing topics including things about the chapter to ridiculous topics such as "is Batman a true superhero?" These topics were discussed over pizza.

Walk Across/Thorns and Roses (11/13/13)

Brothers get a chance to bond and have heart to hearts with the entire chapter sharing things that are bothering them, make them happy, and get a chance to express appreciation for one another.

Founders Day (11/4/13)

Delta Upsilon International Fraternity has been on a mission to build better men for 179 years in the making while following the four founding principles: the promotion of friendship, the development of character, the diffusion of liberal culture, and the advancement of justice. The following quotations were written by a few active members of the Carthage College Chapter of this extraordinary brotherhood in honor of Founders Day.

Mr.AXO is a philanthropy event that is essentially a male beauty pageant put on by Alpha Chi Omega International Sorority. Four out of seven contestants this year were members of Delta Upsilon.
