How do you know for certain that 'the one' is The One? In this universe, there is no doubt. Which begs the question - what do you do? Do you 'Search' for your soulmate even though the odds are infinitesimal? Or do you 'Settle' for love? One family seems determined to break the mould no matter what conventions are set.
'Pair Bonding’ is a novel about finding love outside of set parameters.

A lecture explaining why using our imaginations, and providing for others to use theirs, is an obligation for all citizens
It’s a bit long, I’m afraid. But I think you may find it interesting, and, perhaps, important.
“We have an obligation to imagine”

For me, the only worthwhile parts of On The Road are when Kerouac drops the bullshit and the stark honesty of his difficulties and concerns come through. He spends so much of the book observing everyone else that you only get to see him in these glimpses and they are probably the most interesting parts. I don’t care about who got high in what house and scored with some girl. I care about the bizarre and funny stories that form a colourful cultural picture, I care about the personal and detailed portraits of strangers he meets at truckstops, and, most of all, these little moments when Kerouac slips and shows us that he’s not as cool and collected as he wants us to believe.

I’ve been waiting for that possibility quite some time.
There's no sign that the planet's warming trend is slowing.
This is a battle for the fate of all the living systems of Earth. We can meet this challenge with imagination, creativity, and equity amongst peoples, but it’s moving fast. Now’s the time to act.
