Oh, I definitely think Derek dreamt a lot about Casey as well! I could imagine maybe at first it bugged him bc even though he knew he was attracted to Casey, imo he really wanted to believe he hated her at the beginning. Or at least he wanted to make himself hate her. But then as the dreams kept persisting over the years he got accustomed to them and maybe if there was one the hit particularly close to home he would stear clear of her for the day bc it hurt too much to see her and not be able to touch her, to kiss her, to have her look at him like he hung the moon (even tho she did do that quite often lolol).

Ugh I always make myself feel bad for Derek. The boy is just pining in silence. Not even realizing that Casey feels the same way ugghhhh (because she doesn't realize it herself most of the time).
