had this idea for a little bit, so here, have a 4 + 1 of sorts- four times the DDâs and Solvers surprised Lizzy with their traits, and one time she surprised them with hers- [these are all pretty short, and I was pretty sleepy while writing some of this, so sorry if their bad TwT-] [this is mostly Vizzy ngl lol-]

Lizzy wasnât very fond of trying to find V post thunderstorm- mostly because the Astraphobic Disassembler would bolt like her life depended on it, and hide until hours later.
this time Lizzy was determined to find her though, which had led her to the lowest sections of the bunker.
Now, as she was not an idiot and these areas were a fair bit dangerous, she had reluctantly asked Khan to come with her, mostly because his position in the WDF meant he knew these areas, fuck, heâd probably helped build them.
she still wasnât having any luck though, until she saw a tail peeking out from the top right gap between two machine, where only a drones head wouldâve fit without injury.
Lizzyâs core stopped for a second, and she immediately bolted over, staring up at the gap as she tired to access damage, only to realize that V was comfortably laying there, unharmed literally asleep.
âhuh, guess they are like Nori thenâ Khan muttered softly, and Lizzy immediately whipped her head around-
âgot a catlike skeleton and all that apparently, like floating collarbones and such, you or me tried that and weâd break our shoulders, but they manage just fine-, if I remember correctly the ribcage bends a little too, so they can flatten themselves to get under stuff. I suppose itâs useful for hunting, but Nori just used it for chaosâ Khan explained.

while Khan ended up trying to wake V up so she could be convinced to relocate, since the gap between the machinery was dangerous due to how unpredictable it was, Lizzy took the time to alter her sketches of what she guessed a Disassemblers skeletal structure would be like.
the âfloatingâ collarbones made quite the fair bit of sense actually, considering the poses sheâd seen them pull, and it meant she could finally nail down how the armor plating lay when it hadnât been deliberately shifted about.
Lizzy had just snapped her notebook shut when she was given an armful of sleepy V-, Khan then grabbed the lantern and headed back towards the main part of the bunker.
Lizzy took a second to adjust her grip on V, before following.
only a month and a half of studying and watching the Disassembly Drones, and theyâd already shown so many surprising traits-

Lizzy knew the Solvers could purr, it was obvious even, since Doll could and would purr when content, or at least, she had.
but Lizzy never expected it from the Disassemblers, considering that they were wild and unpredictable predators compared to the more tame and compact by comparison Solvers.
however, one night, when sheâd convinced V to watch a movie with her for a sleepover, she ended up with a capful of sleepily murder bot, since V had dropped herself into a post feed drop.
that was somewhat comforting, that she trusted Lizzy enough to just casually sleep on her like this-
One thing that Lizzy had noticed of late what that V had a small bit of chonk, not that much, but it was actually reassuring, considering how much materials the DDâs burnt through when regenerating, she knew that the skinny mess V had been hadnât exactly been the healthiest for her.
Lizzy didnât even notice sheâd been scratching Vâs scalp, until she felt a vibrating rumble.
she immediately withdrew her hand, assuming it was a growl, before pausing as her brain rewired itself, because oh her fucking god, that hadnât been a growl-
it had been a purr-
she immediately returned to gently scratching Vâs scalp, and maybe took a little video for blackmail later-
and for evidence, so V couldnât deny it-, Disassemblers purred, and that was surprisingly a cute fact-

Lizzy was simply sketching out a doodle, based off of how she thought Uziâs wings safely folded into her casing, when her door opened.

she didnât look up, just rolled her eyes, but she did give V an answer âwhat?â
The only answer she got was a wing flopped across her lap, which was kind of unnerving considering sheâd seen that each bladed feather was sharp enough to slice right through a drone.
but, there was a distinct unevenness to the bladed feathers, the smaller ones looking almost ruffled-
wait, there was more then the standard feathers-, there was smaller ones layered in too, like an actual birds wing. Huh.
Lizzy, still guessing at as to what V wanted, carefully twisted one blade back into place, and since V didnât say anything, she did it again, and again.
carefully readjusting each misaligned feather, and removing the broken and stuck ones just to watch a new one regenerate in its place.
she could hear V purring even as she reached for the other wing and repeated the process, calmly preening V-, that was what she guessed this was anyway, preening-
V mustâve been used to someone else preening her wings at some point, considering how she wordlessly gave her wing to Lizzy.
Lizzy did take the opportunity to take a brush to Vâs hair though, the fluffy mess was a matted mess-
the brushing turned into a full on hair trim when Lizzy realized it was ragged and too long, which made her realize that Vâs hair must be somewhat organic, and actually grew without any prompting or extraness needed.
V didnât protest the entire time, just seemed sleepily out of it, she didnât even protest Lizzy taking a cloth to the glass of her nanite syringe canister.
âLazy assâ Lizzy said teasingly, planting a kiss on Vâs forehead before going to pull back.
âYou like my lazy ass~â V snarked in response, pulling Lizzy back down for a proper kiss.
}{~~~~~~~~~<4>Bite force<4<~~~~~~~}{
Lizzy has decided to conduct a test today-, for curiosityâs sake, also because when sheâd mentioned how easily sheâd seen Uzi bite through Emilyâs casing V had seemed confused-
âAlright!-, snap the pipe and you win., it is stronger metal then drone bone is made out of though, so, good luckâ Lizzy said, crossing her arms as she spoke.
sheâd given each of the three Disassemblers, plus Uzi, a small but strong metal pipe, one of the ones she knew was often used in tested blunt force weapons.
N tilted his head a couple times in confusion, before Uzi nudged him, at once point he yelped sheepishly, before biting down on the pipe, to no avail, when he let go Lizzy could see visible dents, but he hadnât bitten clean though.
V wasnât much better, her teeth tore the pipe a little more, but she didnât succeed in snapping it, much to her frustration, considering her lashing tail-
J- J got pretty close, but Lizzy figured that was partially due to adapting to her lack of claws, which wouldâve forced her to adapt to having only her teeth and her tail for immediately at the ready weapons-, but still, the pipe didnât break-
Uzi- Uzi looked down at the pipe, and then bit down, it snapped, easily-
Lizzy would never admit that she jumped back with a startled yelp, core pounding-, yeesh, no wonder Darrenâs corpse had been found with a caved ribcage and Rebeccaâs lower half had been bitten off- Uzi had a bite force that wouldâve made a crocodile feel deeply, deeply ashamed-
note to self, never actually piss Uzi off if thatâs what her teeth alone can do-

It was a cold and brisk day, but perfect for walking with Lizzy and Doll, well, V had originally intended to go alone, but Lizzy tagged along, and then unfortunately Doll joined.
she figured it was good for her girlfriend though, Lizzyâs newfound status as a Savior Initiative Drone was certainly interesting, and she was still figuring it out, but V figured the time outside the bunker would be good for her-
she didnât miss it when Lizzy stumbled and nearly collapsed, V immediately went to catch her, only to be surprised at how cold the other drone felt.
âRobo-Jesus- youâre freezing!, Lizzy, what-â V spluttered, lowering Lizzy down as she spoke.
âc-coldâŠâŠâ Lizzy whined in response, burying her head against Vâs chest.
V huffed softly, before scooping Lizzy up, and immediately booking it back towards the bunker, ignoring Dollâs growled warning-
V simply beelined for where she knew the two idiots would be, and dropped Lizzy into the middle of N and Uziâs movie night nest, ignoring any yelps or growls-
âsheâs freezing, apparently sheâs got a too good cooling system, and beating shitty system-â V said in response, before she went to curl up in the nest beside Lizzy, only for Uzi to stop her.
V growled softly, but didnât go against Uzi, just watched as the Solver Drone used her Solver to grab something out, before leaving the room, and returning a couple minutes later, with some warmed heating pads, which she promptly tucked around Lizzy.
Doll then pushed past Uzi, and immediately tucked Lizzy against her, and V reluctantly settled down on Lizzyâs other side, not too happy about being so close to Doll.
N promptly joined the impromptu cuddle pile with glee, and Uzi reluctantly tucked herself against him.
V let herself reluctantly relax after a long moment, even if Doll was too close for comfort, the cuddle was admittedly comfortable and warm, and Lizzy would be okay.
she could tolerate this for a bit, just a little bit, just until Lizzy was alright enough that the cuddle pile could afford to dissolve.
V did not like the cuddle pile, she just tolerated it, that was all this was.
