I’m currently on my period and I just thought I would share what has stressed me out/irritated me today:

My sister is home so I don’t have the house to myself

I can’t just automatically know stuff, I have to actually learn it

I’m hungry but I don’t know what for

Sherlock was taken off netflix

The lights were on in the bathroom and kitchen

My sister running around looking for her wallet

I’m not an adult and don’t live in the mountains by myself

The tv was too loud

The living room fan is loud

I can’t drink tea that was just poured cause it’s too hot, I have to wait

I woke up achy

Frederick is the big snail, Timmy is eating the carrot and Honda is the smallest of the snails.

This is a baby picture of Archie, he is currently larger but still semi see-through.

My snails live in an enclosure that is a glass dome with a wooden lid. I have done my research on terrariums and know how to keep it clean and safe for my snails. It is bio active with springtails and isopods that help me keep it clean but I still do routine cleaning and check ups to help keep any mold build up from contaminating the water reserve and soil. I have pea pebbles at the bottom of the enclosure that hold moisture and fiber glass window screen on top of the pebbles so the soil doesn’t get into the water reserve and sour. The fiber glass won’t rust but it will allow any moisture in the soil to get into the reserve. Any eggs that are laid in the enclosure are removed but I keep them in separate containers and allow them to hatch safely. The snails are fed clean fruits and vegetables.

Here’s an ivory/bone(?) pipe that my grandpa found while digging alongside the river bank as well!

It’s got little hearts on the sides, which could actually be something else but if it’s not then could it mean it was a woman’s pipe?

My grandfather does a lot of digging around riverbanks and will find a lot of Native American artifacts, like jewelry and pottery and weapons. He will even find small remains of Spanish settlements sometimes. And in that time he found this bead. Something seems off about this bead but I can’t play it. It doesn’t seem like it’s wood or some other type of natural material, but maybe I’m just not knowledgeable enough on the types of building materials they had then. I also don’t think Native Americans knew about the Venus sign at the time, yet this bead bears that sign. Could someone explain to me what this bead is?
