I’m actually afraid to play until they fix the save-corrupting bug. I have a lot of shinies out of legitimate good luck, hatched my first shiny meowth, hatched a shiny eevee too, and the shiny sprigatito I got traded on Christmas. I can’t risk corrupting the save, I would be so sad. My gatitos!

i got overexcited for christmastime in early december.

i love the holiday season. most of all i’m fond of the collective effort that goes out to be a little nicer to each other when winter is coming on. for me, christmas is an enormous part of that. and i don’t have any christmas-related trauma so i’m just like EEE SO EXCITED.

truthfully, there is always some disappointment that i don’t feel as delighted to receive gifts as i was when i was a kid and MOAR TOYS was the most satisfying thing imaginable.

but it goes into the super vague stirring-pot of “winter has some bad feelings for me” and the holidays are my biggest defense against that.

used to think the “loose fall dress” was an autumn dress until i realized it meant the fit was like a loose fall of fabric. to me it is still an autumn dress anyway. just look at it.

i really love plaid and argyle a lot. i’m not sorry. i kind of was a fashion plate at 9 years old and this is what i’d have considered a perfect school outfit. i just honestly loved geometric and plaid things, even though nerdy styles were considered super uncool at the time. the look is tidy but interesting, it soothes my eyes. it’s satisfying to look at.
