why did it feel as though his heart just shattered into so many pieces? in another time, literally not that long ago; this would have been the ultimate endgame right? this was the person he had been waiting for all this time. and yet, it had taken him way too long to finally realize that. no, instead of coming to terms with how his feelings had been working; his struggles with loving both ladybug and marinette ( little did he even know. ) after seeing her with him, fawning over two other boys. it had felt… how was he supposed to describe this feeling? why did he have to be so foolish?

was it because he was hanging around them? had it been because of his crushes getting the best of him? that’s all they were right? harmless crushes on the girls he’d save? was it? he didn’t know. he didn’t get anything anymore. this was all too much for him. and it broke adrien to pieces. ‘ that’s alright !! ‘ he says, a bit too optimistic for his own good. but he has to let his friend know that he’s okay. he has to be okay, for her sake.
