[🐾] “I don’t know if I should be happy or insulted by this...”
[🦊] He’s done it again folks.
Hey guys. DustFox is here with yet another new RP blog (that’s still kind of in the works tbh). Y’all know the drill; like or reblog if you want to interact with a (semi-headcanon based) Selective and Private Twig from Hilda.
[⚡] ‘Ello everyone! Guess who’s back at it again with a new blog?
Me that’s who, but, um, this isn’t a RP blog. Nope! It’s a main blog connected to this massive project I’m working on with all of you!
That’s right, I said you!
Yume Shima (Dream Island in Japanese) is a large Roleplay commentary between a bunch of us people. To join? Well that’s easy!
All you gotta do is pick a character from a fandom, make an OC, or a fandomless OC and you’re in!
What’s the plot you might be asking? Well, this is the basic plot thus far. More will be added in the future.
Yume Island is a multi-fandom, OC, and fandomless Roleplay set in the city called Arcadia, a mysterious city that rests in the middle of the Island. Characters here have been ripped away from their homes and worlds by strange masked beings. Do you dare to try to find out why?
And that’s it for now. Danger lurks within the shadows of this city you’ve now trapped in. Are you brave enough to try and uncover the mysteries that lurk just out of sight?
Come join Yume Shima and let’s find out!
Hope to see you guys around!

Sissel seemed to be too relaxed even after she mentioned he could be killed. He couldn’t be killed anyway. So he casually licked his paw and cleaned his ears with it, twiching his whiskers calmly.
“Don’t worry. I can’t die. I’m already dead.” Shocking revelation spoken in a very casual meow. “I’m a special cat. I have powers of the dead. You seem to be really scared of this Maxim guy… You don’t have to worry about him. I can take care of things with my powers.”
He was feeling bad for the other kitty. She was really scared, poor thing. “I can protect you, if you want.”
[🐾] ...What? He was already dead? But he didn’t look like he was! He looked like a completely normal cat! How could he possibly be dead? What were these powers of the dead that he mentioned? Was he sent here by Tarak? If he was really dead, then he had to be!
“Maxim’s the wh-whole reason I’m in th-this mess to be-begin with... He’s let us pr-prisoners go free ju-just so he and his ga-gang can hunt us do-down and kill us. It’s called the Hu-Hunt and it lasts until all of us are de-dead...”
It had been quiet for awhile though. There had been no scent nor sound of the large tabby or anyone still loyal to Maligni. That was a relief. But where was Blackbird? Blizzard? Clover? Gorse? Rook? Were they okay? Were they even still alive? They had been lost in the sea of fleeing felines as soon as this twisted game began.
“Are you... Are you a cat fr-from Tarak? Were you se-sent here to he-he-help?” Pale eyes shined brightly in hope. The first bit in a long time. Thank the stars if he was!
GENERAL
“Can you walk?”
“How did this happen?”
“What the hell happened?”
“I hit my head.”
“Did you hit your head?”
“Can you hear me?”
“Don’t close your eyes, stay awake!”
“Come on, stay with me!”
“No no no no no!”
“You shot me!”
“I didn’t mean to shoot you!”
“You stabbed me!”
“I didn’t mean to stab you!”
“Take the knife out!”
“Don’t take the knife out!”
“It was an accident!”
“That/this wasn’t an accident!”
“That looks broken.”
“I think my leg/arm is broken.”
“That doesn’t look good.”
“Am I going to die?”
“You’re not going to die!”
“Calm down!”
“Don’t panic!”
“I can’t help you if you don’t let me!”
BLOOD
“Are you bleeding?”
“Don’t move, you’re bleeding.”
“Is that blood?”
“Whose blood is that?”
“That’s a lot of blood.”
“Do you know how to get bloodstains out?”
“Why do you know how to get bloodstains out?”
“Damn, I got blood on my shirt.”
“Don’t move, you’re losing blood!”
“I won’t let you bleed out!”
“You have blood on your face.”
“I swear to god, if you get blood on me…”
“What’s your blood type?”
“Why in the hell would you need to know my blood type?”
WOUNDS
“That cut is nasty.”
“You have a massive gash in your arm/leg!’
“Don’t touch it!”
“Don’t move, you’ll only make it worse!”
“I’ll get some bandages.”
“You’re going to need stitches.”
“That looks infected…”
“Did you get bit by something?”
“There’s no exit wound, the bullet is still in you.”
“There’s an exit wound, the bullet went through you.”
AFTERCARE
“How are you feeling?”
“How does it feel?”
“It’s still not healed, but it’s getting there.”
“Let’s go home.”
“I just want to go home.”
“Let’s get you into the bathtub.”
“We need to change your bandages soon.”
“Get some sleep, okay?”
“You need to eat something, you’ve been through a lot today.”
“I’ll check up on you in a bit.”
“You’re going to be fine. I promise.”

When Sissel heard the meowl of a female cat nearby, he stopped to look at her. He remembered there was a time when he was alive that his instinct would tell him to chase after female cats, but that instinct stopped when Yomiel decided to… castrate him. Now he just saw female cats as friends.
He didn’t understand why she was so worried though.
“Why? You don’t need to worry about me, I’m fine.” It’s not like he could be hurt now, since Temsik was constantly protecting his body.
[🐾] Pale yellow eyes widened at the tom’s response. Did he really not know of the danger he was now in just by being in the territory? Maxim’s group didn’t care who wandered onto their land, they’d attack them, drag them back into camp, force them to work for the power-hungry leader, and if they didn’t, they’d be tossed into Morien until the Hunt.
Too bad the newest Hunt had already begun and this strange had stumbled right into the middle of it. If Maxim or his cats found him, he would be treated like a prisoner. Hunted down and slaughtered like a piece of fresh-kill. He needed to get out of here before it was too late.
“Yo-You don’t understand mi-mister! You’re stumbled into the mo-most dangerous territory in the whole fo-forest! If Maxim or his group f-find you, they’ll hu-hunt you down and ki-kill you too.”
{Hel}
The Scorbunny couldn’t help but chuckle at that. A grin spread across her face as she sat down against a tree, folding her arms. Seems she walked straight into a last man standing game from what she understood. Not that it’d be a problem, given how much training she’d done with her older sibling.
“I’m not exactly afraid. My big sibling constantly tells me to make fear afraid of me, to only retaliate when necessary and try not to cause a forest fire…” She coughed up a few embers for emphasis, not enough to start a forest fire but enough to create a very faint glow. As quickly as they came, they burnt out in midair. “… and to give those that hurt me or my friends Hel.”
An idea came to the Scorbunny. “Why don’t I stick around with you for a bit? You and I both will have a better shot at getting out of this.”
[🐾] Hel was no normal rabbit alright. She had fire powers. That would no doubt give her an edge if the Maligni showed up looking to spill some blood. And yet, how strange. A bunny with elemental magic? It was unheard of. Uncommon.
Perhaps this was a gift from Tarak. One of ghostly felines could have sent Hel to the forest to help in these dark times. If the stories were true at least. Still, it was some hope. Even a little was better then having none.
The Fire-type seemed like she was a rather skilled fighter. There was an air of confidence around her. She looked like she could easily handle herself in a fight and her fire powers would help her too. So long as she didn’t burn the whole forest down.
“Y-Yeah, sure that’s fi-fine with me... We... We need to find my fa-family... I lost them wh-when the Hunt started...”
{Hel}
“Well, nice to meet you Corvo,” she said, closing her fist and extinguishing the flame held in it, as to not attract unwanted attention. Really, she didn’t think that the cat could hold up her own in a fight very well. Well, if there’s anything Hel’s good at, it’s kicking other people’s faces in.
She could feel the dread in the air, looming over the forest like a thick fog. It was almost suffocating to say the least… She knew the kind of air a mass grave held, from scavenging the villages decimated by the shades. Corpses littering what once was an active path. The air here felt close to that…
Snapping herself out of her memories, her thoughts returned to the black cat. Surely she can’t be out here alone, can she? Given how fragile she looks compared to some of the other creatures she’s seen, if the Scorbunny had to assume, she probably wouldn’t last two seconds in an actual fight.
“If you don’t mind me asking, but why are you out here by yourself? The air here is very tense.” What a question to ask, Hel. You’re a 15 year-old rabbit, a fireball kicking rabbit, but a rabbit nonetheless.
[🐾] An ear twitch. And there it was. The question that was dreaded. It was only natural that Hel would be curious. After all, why would someone so small and helpless be wandering around a dangerous forest alone? Pale yellow eyes scanned the autumn stained woodland. Leaves had fallen to the ground, lining it with red, orange, and yellows.
But the cold season was tastily approaching however. If the Hunt continued into that, it would make it even more difficult then it already was. Hopefully it wouldn’t come to that.
It wasn’t safe to stay in a single place for too long. Those in Maligni would have an easier time finding their prey then. Easy prey. Easy kill. It was best to keep moving at all times, only stopping when it was needed. That was lesson number two that Blackbird had said.
“Being al-alone is good... It means I have a chance to su-survive... I’m being hu-hunted... And now that yo-you’re here in these woods, so are yo-you...”
{Hel}
Hel let out a small sigh of relief, dropping her stance before walking towards where she heard the voice come from. Creating a small flame in her paw to illuminate the surroundings, she saw what looked like a black cat, probably around her age. It was best to try and remain calm, as she didn’t want to scare the feline away with her practically overflowing energy.
Though she saw something in the she-cat’s eyes… Tension, perhaps, or maybe even fear, she couldn’t really tell. The air did feel heavy since her arrival, similarly to a catastrophe that at the tipping point of happening…
“Are you okay,” she inquired before introducing herself. “My name’s Helia, but I prefer Hel.” The Scorbunny had gotten the name from her elder sibling “as a reminder to put all who dare harm her or her friends through hell”.
[🐾] It... was a rabbit. A strange looking one, but one all the same. What was one doing out at a time like this? Surely she could sense the danger hanging thick in the air too? But there was relief at the sight of her. It wasn’t an enemy from Maligni. It wasn’t a prisoner neither. But a bunny. A rather odd one, but she was friendly. That was a good sign.
Blackbird always said to be mindful of strangers. They could appear nice but really want to hurt someone. Never talk to strangers. That was rule number one growing up. But there was something about the Fire-type that made it known that she wouldn’t do something like that.
“Ye-Yeah, I’m fine... Don’t wo-worry...” The Scorbunny should have been more worried about herself. Did she not know of the danger she was in just by being in the forest? Apparently not. Another poor soul to be slaughtered... “I’m Corvo.”

@cathvnt wanted a starter!
Hel wandered through the woods, having decided to go out on her own to try and find some form of civilization. Perhaps going through that portal wasn’t the best idea… She didn’t even know if half the things she found were poisonous or safe to eat or not. Cooking wouldn’t be an issue, all she’d have to do is punch the wood to start a fire.
Hearing something approaching, the rabbit took a defensive stance, her metal bands glowing faintly, sending their energy coursing through her body. “Whoever’s out there, I’ll only attack if I have to,” she called out. She really wanted to avoid a fight if she could, given she didn’t even know what kind of creatures this world had.
[🐾] The woods for once was silent. It was an eerie sort of quiet. The calm before the storm. Behind the massive lines of trees and bushes, Maxim’s group could be anywhere. Watching. Waiting. Stalking. Long claws out, ready to slice into some poor helpless victim.
It was a twisted Game that was being placed. A Game called The Hunt. Prisoners being let free only to be hunted down and killed by Maligni. It was Maxim’s Game and if the tabby could help it, the kat wasn’t going to allow anyone to live.
He would make sure that all the prisoners were slaughtered like fresh-kill. The borders were heavily guarded. Anykat that tried to escape that way would be caught easily. He was making sure to keep all the prisoners boxed in for his bloodthirsty troops. He wasn’t going to rest until all were laying dead at his paws.
A strange scent filled the air, easily cutting through the normal smells of oak, pine, and maple trees that lined the woodland that was a death cage for many. It smelled a tad familiar to that of a rabbit, yet far different then any that was often see on Maligni territory. Any that was given as mere scraps to eat down in the Morien.
And then a voice. A voice echoed throughout the forest, vowing to only strike if she was pushed into a fight. That was a relief. A battle was the last thing that was needed right now. There was enough troubles and dangers already. There was no need to add more to it if it could be helped.
“That’s go-good. Because I’m not he-here looking for a fi-fight neither...”
The response back to the newcomer was quiet, but carried far by the wind, easy to hear for anyone close enough. Hopefully no one was too close that wanted to cause harm. If what the strange said was true, it was a risk that was worth taking. Having an ally would be good. Someone to depend on, to trust, to help out when things got tough. It would be far better then being alone, wandering around aimlessly, waiting for death to come.
@sissel--thephantomcat liked for a starter
[🐾] ...This wasn’t a cat from Maxim’s group. The scent on him was strange. He wasn’t from around these parts that was for sure. He didn’t smell like a kittypet. Maybe he was a loner or rogue? Regardless of what he was, it wasn’t safe for him to be out here. If anycat from Maligni found him, he would be taken back to the cruel group, forced to work under the cruel leader and if he refused, he’d be tossed down into Morien, to rot until the next Hunt began.
“H-Hey, mister! You gotta get ou-out of here! It’s not safe!”
@crossed--fates liked for a starter
[🐾] This was where humans lived right? A place called a town or something? It fit what Blackbird always did. If so, then that meant there would be lots of places to hide from Maxim and his group. It was the full moon once again; it shone brightly in the night sky as stars twinkled, casting the world in a gentle glow. But that meant the Hunt had also come around.
The prisoners that were held in Maligni camp were released on nights like this, allowed to go free, but there was a catch. They were to be hunted down and killed. Slaughtered like codeless ferals. Then again, Maxim’s group were feral themselves, so it made sense that they would act so bloodthirsty, killing others for mere fun.
It was all a game to them. A sick twisted game that no one was safe from. It was sickening just to think about. But unless someone knocked Maxim off his high rock and took over, this mess would continue for moons to come.
