What are you favorite coming of age books ? I just can't resist this type of stories. First, it just makes me feel a mix of nostalgia and resilience towards my own teenage years that I love feeling. Second, the characters are usually diverse enough that everyone can find one to identify with. Third, it reminds me of my Arlington High School experience which was surreal for me who only went to school in France before that. The Perks of Being a Wallflower is one I can read again and again and again. I also adored the movie, especially Ezra Miller's portrayal of Patrick <3

I am stunned and feel miserable. This election has been nerve wracking and left me dazed and worried. I am deeply sorry for my American friends and this country I love so much, especially minorities there... I don't understand how one can be so full of hatred for others. Gosh ! Stayed inside pretty much all day despite the beautiful sunny weather today. We needed some comfy time with movies, apple cranberry crisp and manicure ! I had a really cool day with my best friend strolling through the aisles of the flea market 🏆 and eating delicious burgers and sweet potato fries 🍠 ••••• She has a great book selection on her shelves so I finally picked up Throne of Glass ! Can you believe it ? I'm gonna enter a world I'm hearing about everyday on here for months (years ?) ! ••••• Do you think it's better if I start with The Assassin's Blade as it's a prequel ?
