my extremely late Hourly Comic Day 2026. I took all my notes on Feb 1 and finally started actually drawing every thing two months later but hey I got there 👍

the digital version of this piece from 2024 and the traditional version from 2025 (unintentionally finished exactly one year since the first one). i was really unhappy with the first version in 2024 despite it being maybe the only full illustration I completed that year. i knew i'd have to revisit it eventually and i'm glad I did, i like the more vibrant palette and i love the textures a lot more. though funnily enough the old version has grown on me since :P
