Reblogging because this has additional links for more info and because this is one of the best concise summaries of project 2025 I’ve seen—good reference for people to understand the conservative game plan in both the coming years and their long term goals.

The important thing I’d note is that while this transition plan and objective set was created for Donald Trump, it is not necessarily specific to him—this is the distillation of what conservatives have wanted for a long time and WILL CONTINUE TO PUSH FOR even after Trump is no longer in the picture someday. They are proposing it now because they know Trump will be likely to enact these proposals, but understand this: the things outlined in the graphics above are the world the Republican Party envisions going forward regardless of who their candidate is. They are not going away. Unless time and time again those who oppose this vision fight the Republicans at every level of government, one by one the hard fought wins those in the past have achieved will be stripped away.

Look, I have no idea what’s going to happen at the top of the Democratic ticket. And I will be the very first to list the problems I have with the way the Democratic Party is run. But I firmly believe that helping the Democrats defeat the extremely harmful things the other side wants to do needs to be a priority, and that the only way the Democrats ARE going to get reformed and start finally listening to the people they claim to represent is by making changes while working inside and alongside the party. Remembering what stands to be lost is a good reminder on why it’s important not just to throw up our hands and say it’s all fucked and there’s no hope for politics.

Adora is *trying* to be nakkie as She-Ra. She wants to see if it will happen. She wants to get a look at herself in the mirror because she’s curious about the muscles. She wants to know what a bath feels like in the larger body. She wants to give Catra an anime nosebleed. Whatever. She wants to get She-Ra Nekkid. “What the? OK, I’m overthinking the metaphors of this WAY too much, but my headcanon is that the living avatar of the queerest planet in the known universe does NOT have a nudity censorship filter preinstalled.

But the first ones absolutely might (which may or may not have been inspired by Mara getting a bit too enthusiastic in her corrupting their computer system).

So, in conclusion: S1 She-Ra might not be able to get naked, but S5 She-Ra totally can.

That would make a good fanfic. (To tell the truth, here I was thinking about how in The Tick, NO ONE KNOWS if the blue bodysuit he wears is his clothes or HIS SKIN. No one has seen The Tick dressed in anything else, nor naked. I seem to remember a comic-plot of this in the comics where a villain is trying to get his “suit” thinking it is the key to his power). I just thought it was funny if She-Ra had something similar and it was a source of suffering / WTF? And you’re right! Once her own will is involved in controlling the magic, she can break the curse! (Kinda like her “Hell no!” to Light Hope when she was told that she had to let go all attachments, her friends, to train at the end of S1. Swift Wind told her that was ridiculous. He could do similar in telling Light Hope off, as he’s naked all the time)!

I did NOT know how much I want Swift Wind and Light Hope to get into a shouting match about the merits of nudism.

That’s actually one thing the original series has on the reboot - because in the original series Swift Wind is not naked. He has this fancy mask to hide his identity. Who was that mysterious, winged unicorn who saved the day? I don’t know, officer. Could have been any winged unicorn. Who am I, a humble winged unicorn who just happens to be in the neighbourhood, to say? He seemed handsome, though.
