forever thinking about how the central conflict in she-ra was adora being raised to believe the only way she could justify her existence was to “let go” of her loved ones so she could sacrifice herself for the world, and how in the finale it wasnt resolved by choosing to hold onto Catra but instead by letting Catra hold onto her

I always imagined the finale would look like Save the Cat (with Adora choosing Catra over the world) but that was only PART of it…. in a way it feels like we got two finales. anyway i can’t believe we all watched this scene of light hope looking like a straight up serial killer and went yeah, seems legit
