This signed limited edition of On Such a Full Sea by Chang-Rae Lee, published by Riverhead Books, features the world’s first 3D-printed book cover. The slipcase was made by Brooklyn’s Makerbot using a bioplastic made of corn.

Lovely to see another technology join the existing arsenal of print whimsy, currently consisting mostly of die-cut ingenuity and pop-up paper architecture.
