Blythe Con Russia!
I'm from the US but I live in Russia and there's a Blythe con this summer! I've always wanted to go to the ones in the US but just never had the chance. Hopefully this summer I'll have that chance to go to Moscow. My Russian is really bad but it would be so awesome to meet/see all the doll people I follow on IG. And of course the dolls and clothes.

My recent doll carving is taking longer then I thought it would. I took a few days off from looking at her faceplate then came back and started doing more carving! I thought I was done, but I think I am now. Maybe... I need to buy some new eye chips, finish her faceplate, and hope when she's back together she looks beautiful!

Happy with how this shirt pattern came out! Green apple , red apple :)
Tiny pants tiny pockets
Cute hat time :)
Old dress set and my most favorite.
Finished the lids. Really happy with how they came out! Going for a summer/beach-y look. Wanted the gold specks to kinda be like stars :)
So I have started the process of customizing my Blythe, Star Dancer. She's been stock for a handful of years now and I wanted her to have a fresh face and try my hand at carving. So far the carving went OK. Taking a break from craving now just so I don't go overboard. Next I'll work on her lids, I'm super excited about them!
Back?
So I want to try this blog thing again. I just tend to post images and that's what IG is for right? I hope to use this space to talk about my sewing. Doll, human, other types of sewing projects. At the moment my current projects are all about doll clothing. I got tried of sewing for people because I couldn't get yards of all the nice fabrics I wanted and dolls don't require a whole lot of yardage. A few things that surprised me while getting into doll sewing, one how much my sewing improved. Granted the more you sew the better you'll get but it opened up tons of new skills for me. Now when I sew for myself it turns out so much better. Drafting is more fun; I can sit at a desk and go wild with paper. Overall I think I can be more creative with doll sewing, less worry of messing up my fabrics. So hoping to make this thing regular again :)
