SCOTTISH FASHION AWARDS OFFICIAL NOMINEE 2013! 

Scottish Accessory / Jewellery Designer of the Year

The awards dubbed the ‘Scottish Fashion Oscars’ has announced the shortlist of nominees for this year’s fashion extravaganza.

The list contains a host of high-profile names including Christopher Kane, Jonathan Saunders,Holly Fulton and Louise Gray, all of whom are up for the Scottish Designer Of The Year Award. The International Designer Of The Year Award, for best use of a Scottish fabric or Scottish-inspired collection, features Chanel, Moschinoand Victoria Beckham.

The winners will be chosen by an exclusive panel of judges from the world’s leading fashion houses, fashion publications and leading figures in style, and announced at the glamorous awards ceremony, which will take place in October. The Awards are to be hosted in London’s Dover House, which was used during the filming of Skyfall.

A series of special awards, including Fashion Ambassador, Fashion Innovator Of The Year and a new Founders Award will be revealed in October at the awards ceremony.

LOOK OF THE DAY 

Queen of fashion recycling, The Duchess of Cambridge (Kate Middleton) was back showing her penchant for reworking her favourite wardrobe staples at the Wales v New Zealand international rugby match. Wrapping up warm in her favourite scarlet LK Bennett coat, the Duchess of Cambridge was as elegant as could be. Kate’s trademark glossy locks, Gucci purse and delicate Catherine Zoraida earrings added the perfect feminine touches.

Its great to see how the Duchess of Cambridge is supporting British jewellery brands such as Kiki McDonough and Robinson Pelham and now Catherine Zoraida has written to tell me of her personal experience of working with the Duchess. ‘Over a month ago we had a rather urgent and random request to send a small selection of our jewellery to Buckingham Palace. Of course we stopped eveything and raced to the post office in time to catch the postman..’ writes Catherine . The next time she saw her golden Double leaf earrings they were being worn by The Duchess at dinner with the King of Malaysia whilst on their tour of Asia. FOX-IN-SOCKS 1st PHOTOSHOOT - Livingetc 2012

Had a very funny day with the living etc team on set at a beautiful house in south London for the Christmas 2012 shoot! Fingers crossed we got one goody from the day, will find out soon… shes all ready splashed out from her 1st pay on loads of milk and doggies (biscuits). DINNER@OBIKA RESTAURANT LONDON

We hosted a scrumy dinner last night in South Ken with just the most perfect ladies (including Olivia Grant, Laura Whitmore and Pip Durell) to join us to celebrate the newest additions to the collection 'Finders Keepers'. What a fun evening it was sipping on Melon Bellinis (my fav) and delicious burratas, pizza and tirimasu! Cant thank you all enough for making it such a perfect evening.
