Ma'am, we're sorry to have to tell you this, but your husband had an accident at the Pianos, Anvils, and Comically Large Panes of Glass Incorporated factory...
he was hit by a car in the parking lot

what do you mean I can't control everything, why not
if you're an adult behaving immaturely i'm not going to "treat you like a child" about it because i have a lot of respect for children as an oppressed and vulnerable class of people. i will however treat you like an embarrassment. which you are being.

Polyamory is safe for work. Polyamory is safe for kids. Polyamory is safe for day time tv. Polyamory isn’t more sexual than any other relationship and it can be just as romantic, sweet, and healthy.
Aggressively reblogs.
sometimes being a fan of something means not wanting them to make any more of it
I remember once overhearing a younger family member tell their parents that they don't like being sung "happy birthday" because it makes them feel awkward. Their mother said, "Awww but we love singing it to you! It's a tradition! What, we're just going to give you your cake? No!" and then she and the father proceeded to ask the restaurant staff to sing "happy birthday" extra loud, and their child suffered through it with a pained smile.
I look back on that sometimes and think, "Why was exerting your parental power so important to you that you went out of your way to make your child uncomfortable on purpose? And visibly enjoyed watching them squirm?"
I genuinely think some people have kids out of boredom or societal pressure and then spend the rest of their lives resenting and punishing the person they forced to be here.
