Before Pixar took charge of the third movie, Disney developed a script where Buzz Lightyear malfunctioned and was sent to a factory in Taiwan; however, this idea was scrapped for being too dark for children, and the film became the version we know today

The movie where Andy grows up introduces the Sunnyside Daycare, which is more or less like the daycare Jenny attended in the *My Life as a Teenage Robot* Season 1 episode "I Was a Preschool Dropout."

The dump where the toys end up features areas reminiscent of Dust Man's stage in *Mega Man 4*, Junk Man's stage in *Mega Man 7*, and various scrapyard-themed levels—such as Morph Moth's stage in *Mega Man X2* and Metal Shark Player's stage in *Mega Man X6*.

A funny bit of trivia about:TOY STORY 2

*Toy Story 2* almost ceased to exist because someone at Pixar accidentally deleted the files from the server, but the film was saved by an employee who had a copy on her home computer.

But there were some funny details I noticed while listening to *Toy Story 2*; it seems like Zig is heavily inspired by Vexus from *MLAATR*.

I might plan to draw the Toy Story characters tomorrow in the style of *My Life as a Teenage Robot*.
