“Fine,” Cecilia pouted. “You’ll just be missing out on all the fun till you can finish that drink of yours. Just don’t leave me for too long cause this is my one night out and I don’t want to waste it away,” she teased.

I’m gonna have to pass, but thank you for the offer “ the blonde responded, a faint smile tugging on the corner of his lips. In all honesty, watching her was far more amusing. She might have had a tab bit too much to drink, but her quirky self seemed to be the only thing managing to make him smile, especially since he moved to Vegas.
“I am sure you don’t dance that badly,” Cecilia laughed as he turned down her offer to dance. “No one will be watching you and I promise not to record you or anything,” she offered as she smiled slightly. “Plus who else am I going to dance with? A total stranger?”

She was beautiful but what he noticed first was her attire - a clean tailor, chosen with good taste. “Oh no,” Cecilia answered with a shake of her head. “I really hate smoking so if could wait a little bit that would be even better and plus if I need to relieve stress then I have other ways of doing that,” she added. “Cupcakes are really great when you are feeling stressed out but I think anything with sugar would do that. Or maybe a drink but wouldn’t that be like encouraging alcoholism or something?” Cecilia asked him. “But anyways, it is lovely to meet you, Jake. I’m Cecilia.”
“Come on,” Cecilia laughed. “I hardly get out and especially not on a weekend so you’ve got to dance with me. I am not above begging too,” she pointed out with a smirk tugging on her lips. It was the first night out she had in quite a long time and now after a few drinks all Cecilia wanted to do was to dance. “I’d get down on my knees but the floor is quite sticky.”

“Shopping for clothes has to be the worst experience ever. This is why I’m glad I wear scrubs most of the day, well okay all day long unless I’m at home.” Noah’s wardrobe consisted of very little, which is why he tried to go shopping but ended up just leaving empty handed. “Thirty minutes in the mall, and all I got to show for it is a headache.”
“Have you thought about a personal shopper?” Cecilia asked the man. “Someone would do all the shopping for you then you don’t even have to go to the mall and waste time there trying stuff on and fighting the tourists who are merely lingering about,” she continued. “I love shopping myself but I hate shopping when there are tons of other people about. I’ll go shopping right as the shops open to avoid everyone.”

“There’s a difference between the things that drunk me says and the things that sober me says.” Karma explained as she plopped a fry in her mouth. “For instance, drunk me will swear up and down that she’s going to fuck the cute guy at the bar and fight people who are mean to me. But let’s be real, who the hell am I really going to fight? I’m tiny.”
“Isn’t there always that difference?” Cecilia asked. “You should not under estimate yourself just because you are tiny. Plus what if you come across someone your height or even slightly shorter than you?”

& | Drumming his fingers against the table, Jake’s patience was about to reach its limit at any minute. Having announced that he’d be holding a meeting with the financial and marketing team, it was an understatement to say how disappointed the blonde male was when finding out that not a single employee had prepared for it. No innovative ideas were pitched in. Nothing, except useless talks. Silence was finally brought to the room once Jake’s voice boomed through. “ Enough ! I’m telling you this. If none of you bring new ideas to the table by next week, consider yourselves all fired. “
With that, the young heir made his way out of the conference room, hand loosing up on his tie as anger was radiating from him, only to end up outside of his hotel. “ Fucking incompetents “ he mumbled, fishing out a cigarette from his jacket’s pocket.
“You’re not going to smoke that are you?” Cecilia asked as she interrupted his quiet rumblings. Cece has been passing by the hotel after meeting with a bride who couldn’t meet anywhere else besides her office which was why she was on the strip rather than her office way off the strip.
