As a mass comm major, IF THERE IS SOMETHING UNJUST OR IMMORAL BEING DONE CALL YOUR LOCAL NEWS STATION THEY WILL HELP MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE
Cities and government agencies HATE bad press. This story that was told to me by the journalist that covered this, and he showed us the piece:
There was a traffic light that was set up on the far side of an overpass, but it was improperly hung so you couldnāt see the light until it was too late. There were accidents there EVERY SINGLE DAY and calls to the city did NOTHING.
Someone had the idea to call the local news station and this dude went out to see. As he was interviewing someone, there was a wreck.
Guess what happened after that piece aired?
Suddenly the city had the time to lower the traffic light and the accidents stopped.
Journalists get a bad rep, and while big stations like Fox deserve it, I think more thought should be given to who youāre actually shitting on when you say āI hate journalists.ā Because weāre overworked, underpaid, constantly shit on, but we still do the job because we want to help people. All professional, prestigious journalists that Iāve met hate the government and will do whatever they can to get the information and change thatās needed. Being a journalist is a dangerous profession: at every professional convention Iāve been at thereās a fund for the families of journalists that have been killed (thereās a lot!) and a long memoriam roll.
SUPPORT LOCAL NEWS STATIONS
Our neighborhood was able to save a local public park from being turned into apartment buildings by the press getting the Mayorās attention. Once he was interviewed, the building company immediately backed out. Source

Truth.
So Hasbro just announced a new mascot for Nerf blasters called Murph, a horrifying nerf dart humonculus and ive already decided he is a champion of the people
Itās from Reddit so take it with a grain of saltā¦and youād prefer to think it wasnāt true, but this sounds so similar to the stories *all* relatives of qanon people have. Heartbreaking.
Update: itās real.
āI don't know how to help someone that far gone.ā
My heart breaks for this person. I can't even imagine turning on my own child like that!
One sad part is when he says even if the dad got deprogrammed tomorrow heād still never forgive him. This is just way too big a betrayal.
Fucking Qanon . Hey I know I'm the haha funny human but if your loved ones seem vulnerable to Qanon or any kind of cult please please keep a eye on them.
Qanon is a disease.
Shit's fucked up and shit
Everyoneās hero origin is stopping Qanon.
School shootings happen regularly and never result in any gun control policies being passed. So it makes no sense for evil commies to pay someone to shoot up a school in order to create an excuse for gun control.
Who is president right now
This picture was taken in 2018, under the Trump administrationās āno toleranceā policy towards asylum seekers crossing the southern border. The policy was discontinued by the Biden administration in January of 2021. Mass trials for migrants, however, have been an ongoing phenomenon since 2005 under Operation Slipshine, started during the Bush II administration and reaching a peak during the Obama administration. Of course, none of this would have been possible without the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 under the Clinton administration, which changed immigration laws to make illegal entry a felony instead of a misdemeanour, and eliminated much due process.
As for the current president? That is Joe Biden, under whose administration some changes have been made to immigration policy. The rest, however, tends to be mostly a continuation of the policies of previous administrations, much to the detriment of the people still imprisoned and deported.
And people wonder why the US has a labor shortageā¦
