7. What minor character would you like to see more of? 

I'll go with Eärien. I'd love to see her in cahoots with Míriel. Honestly, Eärien with Elendil in the dungeon was one of my favourite scenes of last season. Ema Horvath can bring it when given some space to do something with the character and there's so much fascinating potential there for a (tragic) redemption arc (or at least that's what I'd prefer over a villain arc, which makes little sense to me; Númenor has no shortage of villains). It's a shame her evening walk scene with Valandil where they reminisce about Isildur (as per interviews) was cut.

12. What colour do you associate with your favourite character?

I'd think of Míriel and a deep dark blue, like the depth of the sea. Because of the sea trial but mostly because this is what first comes to mind when I think of her still:

5. What’s your favourite song or piece of music from RoP?

Gosh that's a tough one. I adore the entire score. Maybe recency bias but I'll go with Shadow and Flame from the S2 finale (episode album) because it weaves all the themes together so beautifully. Of the individual themes, I really love all of them so much but I have to give a special shoutout to the Khazad-dûm theme because it rocks (no pun intended).

19. Which characters who haven't shared screen time yet would you most like to meet one another?

Galadriel and Gandalf! I wrote about it a little bit here but I just think it would have the potential to be really lovely, with both of them so destined to defeat Sauron while at the same time sharing a journey towards becoming more powerful magic users. For some reason I feel like their dynamic would be really charming. He's so chill and she's so determined. And they've both gone through massive arcs of self-doubt and questioning whether they're good or bad. They would be able to relate so much and recognize a kindred spirit.

28. Do you have any headcanons about a character, or the world? What are they? 

I didn't until now lol But let's see... my new headcanon is that Berek is the ancestor of Brego. I mean, that's basically canon, right?

"Prime sent me a survey on how I enjoyed season 2, asked for comparisons to season 1, and what characters I wanted to see more of."

Was the survey you received similar to this one?

Yes, it must have been the same one. With the characters, for example, they gave you a long list of characters (including images of the characters) where you had to note for each character whether you wanted to see more, the same, or less of them. So it wasn't really just a wishlist but a more detailed way of recording audience reactions, both positive and negative. And the same went (with other types of gradations) for storylines and relationships and themes and production aspects and viewer engagement and so on.

2. Who is your favourite character and why? 

Okay, so, out of the main characters, I would have to choose between Galadriel, Elrond and Míriel. But lowkey my favourite was Valandil. That man never set a foot wrong, never annoyed me, never bored me. He was always a strong presence, steadfast, determined, no nonsense, but also a great friend with a kind heart. He was one of the few characters who we know worked his way up in a class-conscious society very much prejudiced against him. He was an exceptional human, not because he was born that way, but because he earned it and owned it. He was loyal and brave and strong. And he deserved better.

8. What accessory would you like most to own? (sword, brooch, crown, etc.)

I was going to say the hedgehod teapot of Bombadil but then I realized that's not an accessory lol Neither is Celebrimbor's amboss anvil paper weight. Soooo I'll go with Finrod's dagger. Beautiful and useful.

23. If you could give a present to a favourite character, what would it be?

I would give Valandil the gift of life instead of the "gift of Men" 🫠😭

Ok but seriously, I would give Círdan a piece of soil from Valinor. (Don't ask me how.)

3. If you could spend one day with a character, who would it be? What would you do together?

The boring answer would be Elrond and we would be discussing scrolls and manuscripts all day and I'm sure it would be very lovely BUT part of me wants to spend the day in nature, so my answer is: I would spend a day with Arondir. I'd ask him to show me some archery and take me around the countryside and tell me all about the plants and animals and history of the lands. And then we'd sit somewhere in companionable silence. Unless some Orcs showed up.

9. Whose costume would you like most to try on?

Oh, Míriel's for sure, hands down! Can't even say for sure which one. All of them.

24. What is your favourite story line in RoP?

Phew, that's a tough one. I would have to say Galadriel's arc because it was great in S1 and I'm most excited about the potential of her for S3 as well, if they do lean into her learning more powerful magic. I'm also excited for Gil-galad's storyline, although I don't think you could really say he's had one yet so I can't claim it as my current favourite (prospective favourite, let's say).
