2017 - Present | She Shreds • The Way
Created a new look and feel for She Shreds’ instructional guitar video series, The Way. My approach is less formal and has a more conversational tone than most "how to play guitar" videos. I wanted to create a video portrait of the musician in their space that not only clearly and simply instructed viewers on how to play their songs, but also shared the personality of the songwriter helping build a more organic engagement with the audience.

I helped make a documentary for Cartoon Network with Wyzurd (Chris Hackett) about independent video game developers. My duties included scheduling and organizing over 20 separate shoots, with nearly 60 different subjects in various locations all over the US, and all in a span of 3 months.

2017 | Coalition of Communities of Color • Bridges
The Coalition of Communities of Color came to me wanting to spotlight their Bridges Program initiative. They wanted something that would be emotionally engaging but still inform viewers of its six, culturally specific, leadership academies. I chose to lean on more personal narratives in the style of mini-docs, rather than depending on stats and infographics to prove the success of their programs.
I made a series of seven videos, a trailer, some animated logos, and a small toolkit for their site branding. The seventh “about” video explains the collective power of the CCC's Bridges Program initiative, conceptually unifying the video series. A trailer for a video I’ve been working on with The Billy Webb Elks Lodge and Dr. Darrell Millner (Professor Emeritus), the previous head of the Black Studies Department at Portland State University. Currently in production.
This project focuses on the changing cultural narrative of Black Portland as told through the history of one very important building.
