This is my completed and final poster like my other products I have stuck to my conventions with the colour, text and images this all helps create my final product and brand identity.

The music video that was made as a group was posted on YouTube and has received 100 views. As a group I felt that we have done well at sticking to the conventions of an indie music video and we stuck to are ordinal plan of what we are going to do in each section of the song. However we did have to make minimal changes to the begin of the music video because we felt that the mood of the song was not represented in the opening clip so were re filmed in a new location and used makeup to express the mood of the song.

Ed sheeran music video a team I feel has a lot in common with our music video as it is about a girl who is struggle in life and it ends in her death which mirrors are music video fix you as it deals with death. We have met common conventions of indie music genre my having a storyline that runs through the music video. Throughout the music video we stuck to conventions of a music video by using different shot types.

My media products link with the music video as I use the images of the band mebers in each of my products which gives my products a brand identity.

What have you learned from your audience feedback?

I showed people the end result of my media product they gave me feedback. For my front cover the comments were that they felt it was a cd cover, they liked the concept of three main colours they liked it however the comments for what could be improved was that the back cover writing was a bit bigger.

The inside they said that that the inside had the key concept that is used in the inside of a cd and them also like that the cd cover and inside were easily recognisable. But they said that I could of changed the colour of the text.

The final poster they said that it was clean simply layout that was easy to read but kept to the conventions of an indie music poster.

The feedback that we received on YouTube for are group music video was Krystal S-Ali you guys done soo well! This almost had me in tears, I like how you incopoerated the letter the ending was amazing

Overall the feedback that I received was positive I think gaining feedback is important because it allows you to be able to see how your target audience perceived your media products and they felt about them.

How did you use media technologies in the construction and resarch,planning and evaluation stages? (click on image)

For my media project I used tumbler to blog my working process from using tumbler I found that it was a interesting way to let people interact with the project and to check my progress. From using tumbler I tested the likeability of my designs from when people liked them click here to see one of the comments . Also tumbler was useful to let my group and I exchange information to each other. Tumbler can be seen as the foundation of my project because whatever I did with the different media technologies I then posted on tumbler.

The main technologies that I used for my research were Prezi and PowerPoint. I liked using prezi more than PowerPoint because I felt that Prezi is more dynamic and arty. click here for a PowerPoint presentation and a Prezi one.

In my research I also worked with Polyvore which is a website that allows people to create their own personal outfits in a nice and graphic layout and publish them onto blogs. click here to see the website I used this website for my research because it allowed us to find and show what type of outfits that the artists would have used when we filmed the music video. Photography has been used for the location shots and shots of the band that I used for my digi-pack. I used Photoshop to manipulate the images and to create the graphic of the digi-pack. Click here to see one of the steps of my creation.

I used Twitter to try and get the permission from the artists that we chose. Click here to see it.

In my research into indie music I used YouTube to see indie music videos and read some of the comments that people had of the music video. I read the comments to see what people liked and didn’t like about the music video. I also used YouTube to publish our music video. Click here to see our video.

How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?

look at the prezi presentaion to know more about my brand idenity. I am very happy with my work becouse I think that it meets the conventions of Indie genre.

(click to see)My group and I have finished our music video of Boyce Avenue Fix you; this is the final edit of the music video now it is complete. We had some technical difficulties with the camera (which altered some of our clips) so we did try to crop the clips that change but, unfortunately the cropping didn’t work. Despite the difficulties we had, we are happy with are final product.

We are working on the music video and we are overlapping clips where the top clip is partially see through to reveal the clip underneath.
