âDidnât think hell would look like this place.â
Someone really did not want to be there; sheâd rather be back in Ireland training for the national archery championships.
âa castle filled with angst royals being married off to one another for political gain? all round fun for all the family.â he mentioned yet it was clear he was being sarcastic by the tone he took.
- ÍÌ (he/him) is that DYLAN OâBRIEN coming off the private jet? oh no thatâs GUGLIELMO DEâ MEDICI the 26 year old PRINCE of ITALY. people often say they remind them of OIL PAINT STAINS, AN OVERBOILED MOKA POT, THE RAYS OF A BEAMING SUN. they are arranged to marry JULIET DAIMEN.
typical baby of the family and likes it that way.
spoilt and carefree is one of the reasons that guglielmo does not want to get married. he worries that heâll have to give up his comfy life to go live somewhere else.Â
but he does usually manage to talk his way ( in and ) out of things, so he hopes that he will be able to work things out. or perhaps he can make his way through everything with jokes â which is his usual coping mechanism.
definitely lives by boys will be boys, though that is mostly because his parents often used it to cover for him. if there was anything that guglielmo had done wrong then it was nothing that couldnât be fixed by a few hail marys.Â
still, he doesnât often take responsibility and is quick to place the blame on somebody else when things are not going the way he wants.Â
now that he is getting older, he is trying to place some of these traits behind him. he wants to make sure that he can make his marriage work for italy.
family is everything to him and he wants to remain close so that he can be with his brother, as well as watch his family grow due to the marriages.Â
âWell no I donât, but it is interesting to know that I can fall on my ass seven feet away and he will never know,â he pointed out knowing the chance of the exact situation coming true was decent. âThis kid is going to be living an interesting life. Itâs weird.â
âhe wonât know it? so youâre having a little boy bat then.â he mentioned, pulling his lips inward to hide the smile that was trying to inch on his face. âalthough i do believe most royals live a more interesting life then most. even those who live in their palaces all the time.â
Juliet hadnât exactly imagined this being their first conversation since the news was announced but she supposed you never truly got a say. She shifted to run her hands over the skirt of the dress she had specifically choose for meeting him. âIn your defense though that is simply wrong and thatâs coming from a Spaniard, so who is the monster in this?â
guglielmo was trying his best to keep away from sarcasm or any sharp comments upon their first meeting. instead he was playing to his strength of mindless issues â anything more serious and he was worried about having their first fight. âif even a spaniard knows it then there is no excuse from them now is there?â he raised a brow, âat least youâll fit in around italy... just donât tell anybody you prefer a rioja over a sangiovese.â
Andras was never a book person but the farther in the pregnancy that Astrid became the more he knew he needed to read. âDid you know it takes months until the baby is going to be able to see more than a few feet ahead of them?â
guglielmo glanced up from his book to show interest in the matter. âso youâre telling me that you are going to stand a few feet away for the first couple of months?â he raised an eyebrow at the other. âyou know the kid is going to learn the truth at some point.â
âdo you ever just see yourself becoming a stereotype?â guglielmo blurted out to whoever was there to listen â completely unable to stomach the awkward silence any longer. that particular common area wasnât particularly populated, and he was far too lazy to engage in any meaningful conversation. âfor example, today i found myself ripping somebodyâs head off for cutting up spaghetti. i mean, who does that?â
Val very nearly snorted, laughing at his little brother. âI hated the idea of getting married.â He clarified. He just saw it as his duty, and he was lucky enough to have someone loving to be with. He tousled the hair of his younger brother. âRegardless of where you go Iâm sure youâd find something you like about itâfood especially. Do you know where youâre supposedly off to?â
guglielmo could be the picture perfect youngest child â currently laid back in his bed, sulking over the fact that he couldnât get what he wanted. although in this case, he believed that it was a reasonable reaction. âbut now youâre with lilya, everything is different. you are both happy. but me? well... i might not get that. i donât know if i even want that.â he mentioned, scowling slightly at the ruffling of his hair. knowing that he was marrying for italy was reassuring, but he was definitely would prefer to stay home to serve his country. ânothing will be good as food from home. still, i am not sure. papĂ has yet to tell me.â
