Swiss Cheese Mono Font by Heirloom
the font was designed by Rob Meyerson, and turns out a guy named Dirk McGirk made mechanical keyboard caps inspired by it, including a few accent keys (that are all free to 3d-print and use yourself!)
look how cute those are...im crying
I wish there was more vocabulary for scents, like there is for colours. So you could better describe what you smell like in order to figure out what scents or perfumes would suit you, the way that there's general guides for what colours to choose to suit your complexion, or what cuts and shapes to wear to compliment and emphasise your body type.
Like you could just look up the specific scents that you naturally have and find some sort of a guide that says shit like "ok your natural main notes are paper towel, wet dog, and sourmilk? You probably have a cold, coarse, angular scent landscape. Try sharp and cool scents like metallics and ozone. Don't wear amber, oud or gourmands."
The solution to this exists, and it is a website called Fragrantica
Atlantic Salmon Population Data in New England Rivers
The book is a salmon parchment-bound collection of data tables regarding salmon populations and management in New England rivers. Sewn onto the cover with fishing line are pieces of salmon parchment dyed in onion skins and stamped with the names of the data tables used. The edges are decorated in graphite, which adds to the shiny fishiness of the design. The endsheets are handmade paper with bits of plant material, which I thought evoked the feeling of standing in a river.
All of the salmon parchment used was made by me, the binder, out of skins procured from a local sushi shop.
desperately craving weird surrealist arthurania. Knights with no faces wandering through the mists. Seams between Christian and pre-Christian Britain gaping like open wounds. Beafts and visions. Maybe a monk. Maybe the monk is gay

zinetober day 12....
Hello there! Could we have a cursed fact about turkey vultures? Thanks,
you’ve probably heard that most vultures have bald heads so they don’t get all yuck while going about their daily business.
(their daily business is sticking their entire head into rotting carcasses)
and this is true, but maybe you didn’t know that turkey vultures in particular have a moveable neck ruff!
so when it gets cold, they can just-
zip it up.
comfy cozy!
And it isn’t JUST turkey vultures. This is a shared skill among every new world vulture.
Ah, what a nice warm day.
Whoops! A cool breeze! Time to zip up my hoodie!
Just a vulture being a vulture.
Uh oh! Turtleneck time!
When you’re meeting the boys for dinner at 6 but have a fashion walk at 7.
Rarest turtleneck in the continent.
And yes, they absolutely do deploy the turtleneck in colder weather just like humans might. Some species are more often seen with it deployed and the opposite is true for others.
Oh this makes much more sense. I’m not sure why, but somewhere along the line I became convinced that it had to do with reaching maturity, like how bald eagles don’t get their white head and tail until they’re about five years old.
But this. That’s what I look like on a cold, wet winter day, too.
If they feel a single rained drop they pull their turtleneck up. They hate rain on their bare little head and necks. They crave umbrellas.
You aren’t wrong to associate it with age though. Juvenile vultures tend to have the turtleneck deployed almost always. Andean condors also get a larger caruncle and more prominent flaps of skin when the turtleneck is not activated as they age, so it is more emphasized when adults are going bare necked
Russian car mod
I guarantee that whatever car mod you expect to see going into this is not going to be what you get
Imagine being a tuna (Atlantic bluefin, Thunnus thynnus). You are a super predator, over six feet long and almost a ton. You are as beautiful and shiny and mercilessly efficient as a sports car, a true marvel of the sea. But you taste so fucking good
umm yikes ok OP of the post you just reblogged believes in nuance and grey areas so i'd delete that if i were you
