Budesonide is a steroid medication which is used to treat human ailments such as asthma, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). But its use is not limited to just humans - it is often used to treat ailments in dogs and cats as well. IBD is very common in cats and dogs. Budesonide can be used by human patients with IBD, it also can be used for our furry friends as well. Common symptoms of IBD in cats and dogs are diarrhea, loss of appetite and vomiting.
