it takes the better part of half an hour before sam stops walking, ensuring that they're adequate ways from the demen camp. there's no fanfare to the action, just a released breath & the scrunch of his brows as he summons one of the feline-shaped BT's. the flesh on his body raising in goosebumps as the chiralium levels heighten, making sam shiver as the creature awaits its orders. ( maybe not the most practical means of transportation, but it gets them where they need to be & quickly. ) ❝ make this trip bearable and i may let you come again. ❞

the odradek over his shoulder shoots to life, blinking &. spinning at the creature before them, summoned by sam. a feline-shaped BT, one of his favourites to sick on people, enjoying how it swatted at people akin to the way a cat would swing at a rodent or bug. he all but rolls his eyes ( teasingly ) as sam makes mention that if he makes the trip bearable, he may be allowed to go with him again next time. since when did he make anything unbearable ? he doesn't wait for sam as he approaches the creature, a gloved hand reaching up to touch the tar-like fur the feline BT had, lips tugging into a faint smile. ❛ so little confidence, i know how to handle myself &. be bearable. ❜
