Went to Alcatraz a while back and finally got around to finishing this idea I had of drawing my OC, Oliver, into one of the cells. I was going to draw him into a ton more photos, but I just never got around to it. Maybe I'll draw them later on, but for now here's this one.

I also tried something new, in which, my artstyle was not reliant on line art, so I tried figuring out a way to make him look more realistic, while also still a drawing.

I don't know if I really like how it turned out, but most of it was probably on me for not using lighting or shading references.

I don't understand why people get upset at saying no to me

Like, if I ask someone if I could come to an event or gathering, they have every right to say no and like, I wouldn't mind. No hard feelings or anything

I'd rather you outright say "No" than give me the awkward explanation as to why I shouldn't/couldn't come with promises of "next time" or "some other thing". It just makes it weird for both of us, ya know?

Like, people should be more cool about saying no to someone trying to invite themselves to an event. And people should be cool with being told no that they can't come to something

Been very busy playing Tomodachi Life, it's low-key so addicting. Uh. Anyway. Here's some photos.

I have my OCs, Oliver and Jillian who are currently crushing on each other, Aftonsparv and Miku are in a relationship, Sam and Dean are best friends, Marion and Indiana Jones are in a relationship, The Terminator has a crush on Postal Dude, and Sarah Connor and Guinevere are in a relationship.

Super fun game. 10/10, would recommend, can't put it down.

It's also awesome that it's not one island per switch like Animal Crossing and it's a new island for each person which means 70 Miis (I think), for each account on your switch!!

(I looked back, and uh, I did, actually, but I am stupid. Couldn't hurt to repost, lol).

Anyway, uh. Here's Vernon!

Uhhh, at the moment, I only have a little bit about him, but I have game mechanics for him.

He's honestly kind of like Otto and Arora, but more refined in my head. He has throwable bottles with acid in them that inflict bleed and psychosis damage, both slowly draining health and sanity over time (basically like a bleed effect for psychosis, I guess?) If he misses and the bottle hits the ground, it leaves glass on the floor and inflict bleed. He also has a knife to use in close range, as seen on the sheet.

As far as the story goes for the moment, he became a bartender at eighteen after being kicked out of the house. While bartending, he also goes to comminity college and studies chemistry. The owner of the bar is like his second father. He has a bit of anger issues, but he is definitely charismatic, and this leads people to believe he's flirting sometimes, so they hit on them, and then he poisons their drink if they piss him off. He witnesses plenty of bar fights and adapts this behavior, eventually getting into a fight of his own. He had poisoned a customer's drink with something acidic, and then the customer threw it at him, burning his skin and causing the burns you see on him. When he goes to the hospital, he gets a police investigation as well, considering he's poisoned and killed people. This is how Clyde Perry gets wind of him and so on and so forth.

It's really rough right now, but yeah! Sorry for yapping. I hope that's at least semi-interesting, lol.

Ended up with a concussion so to avoid screens I've just been drawing traditionally a bunch. Obviously, since I'm in school, I still need my screens for homework, but uh. Yeah.

Here's the finished product of more of those cards that I was talking about in my previous few posts! So, all of these are my OCs, obviously, and if you haven't seen my prior posts, I'm making baseball-esque cards for them.

The first five have better sketches than finished products because I tried new paper and it actually SUCKED so bad. I hate them. I might redo the drawings digitally because I reaaalllyyyyyy like the sketches but my pen was so grainy and it bled and it sucked all the detail out of the sketch. :[

Been doing this cool little thing where I make my characters into cards! Kind of like Baseball Cards!

It's loads of fun, and I got the idea because I found card holders at Michael's the other day.

Here's the first four, but I have a pack of 25, so there's more on the way!!

I also have like maybe 60 characters, so I'm thinking of buying more because this is so much fun!

Plus, I think I'm gonna put this stuff on ArtFight this year because It's like a sillier version of a ref sheet and I hate making ref sheets, so this is the second best thing. :]
