as the buzzer sounded, cheers erupted from the crowd as the pairs began to maneuver their bodies in attempts to roll their coconuts upwards. chan was grateful for his partner— both being skilled dancers without too drastic of a height difference was something they could use to their advantage. stepping closer to close the space between them and give them more stability with their movements, he lifted his gaze to his partner. ❛ is it easier if i bend down a bit before we try to wiggle it upwards? ❜

"you think that would work?" the scenario playing in her head when asking the dire question. "let's try it." the ruckus those pairs around them now causing a distraction. "i trust you" she was confident in her partner to do well after seeing his skilled moves on and off stage. "should i stay still or should i try to shimmy it up?" chaewon calling over the bickering from the other competitors.

"Sure, sure" The vocalist trying not to show curiosity about the sudden change of conversation. Figuring best to play along, Heeseung glanced at their surroundings while they walked. "Me? I passed a level in my game. I was stuck on it for what seemed like days. You? Any major news?"

her eyes widened, impressed and proud for her friend on the minor update. "congrats! are you sleeping better at night now that you passed the level? i don't have big news like that. mine sounds boring compared to yours."

"no need to explain." the older idol knew how heavy of a conversation speaking of work could be. she gives an apologetic nod now upset that she would have brought it up to begin with. "a little busy but it's still manageable. i am taking things a day at a time. what about you? how are things for you?"

"thank you, unnie" the woman said with relief. all she wanted to focus on was the company of the older woman and the delicious course they were about to take. "i heard your new song. it's so catchy, congrats on that! things are going for me. stressed as of now but i'm waiting for it to go back to normal."
