Sesame ginger strip steak with seared green beans over white rice, topped with sesame seeds and green onion.
It was absolutely saucey, and I loved it. I haven’t cooked beef in a while, but this was just the sort of hearty brunch I needed! I’d love to remake this with jasmine white rice, and maybe play around a bit more with letting the savory elements of the sauce shine. The soy sauce, garlic, and ginger were slightly overwhelmed by the amount of brown sugar I added in.
Nonetheless it was a pretty good meal! The steak (with the help of cornstarch) was incredibly juicy, albeit of an interesting texture. I might have added too much cornstarch but I can’t be positive on that. Overall this was an incredibly fun recipe to make!
