Kalama peered up at the peculiar perched boy incredulously. “No, that sounds awful!” She snapped, her voice colored by irritation and disbelief. She could feel herself growing angry and a fiery heat began to flicker in her chest. “I’m readng, something I’m sure you’ve never heard of, it’s an assaignment and I really need to finish.” The dark haired girl spoke slowly, hoping the nuisance would take the hint and leave.
“Awful?” Castor placed a hand over his heart, leaning back in mock hurt. His tone was snide, revealing just what he was trying to convey. “I wouldn’t say awful. In fact, I would say the exact opposite. It’s quite lucky of you to have me staying here instead of walking right past you. I don’t pay much attention to the people around here. They’re all so boring.” He stated matter-of-factly. “Reading is for nerds, and people that can’t use magic. What’s the assignment? Maybe I can help.”
