A Softy Pea

I’ve been seeing a lot of the fandom agreeing over the fact that Pea’s actually just a big softy and has absolutely no game when it comes to dating BUT I have the headcanon that Sweets DOES have game, just not with people he actually has feelings for.

Like, can you imagine Sweet Pea continuously flirting w the reader, pulling out all of his best lines and moves only for him to crumple into a big fumbling soft mess when he starts to develop feelings for her?

It starts off innocent enough and then the moment she giggles at one of his comments, she holds their hug goodbye longer than usual, or her hand brushes his when getting a slice of pizza, you can bet your ass this boy’s hands start sweating, his words get caught in his throat, and his heart starts racing faster than the road runner.

Jesus I love this soft idiot, someone hug him.

I think everybody knows Riverdale is a trash show, but the scene where Fangs is brought out of the police station and gets shot? Perfection. The music, the acting, the lighting, the camerawork, the raw emotion of the scene itself, everything is amazingly well done.
