In astrology, the big misconception is that your ascendant/rising sign is the sign that describes your physical being... it’s not the full story though.
Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac because it is the womb. Look at the symbol for Aries and then look at a diagram of the uterus.
Draconic Astrology is more accurate than sidereal/tropical because it takes into consideration the fact Aries is the beginning. The point where the lunar nodes crossed the earth’s ecliptic point is the true vibrations of your soul, when you put your lunar nodes back to the starting point Aries 0º, you came into this realm via uterus/portal BUT it wasn’t the creation of YOU! You existed beyond this realm and will continue to do so! You merely entered this realm at the highest point of the heaven, midheaven.
The Midheaven and Ascendant sign both describe your physical being. The reason why is because in numerology both these houses equate to one. [You can also apply this rule further to your 11th and 12th house. This is your higher 2nd and 3rd house.]
The Midheaven is the highest point in the chart and it is symbolizing, spirit’s descent into matter. The number 1 (you) going through the portal 0. In a lot of charts I’ve checked, so far the midheaven seems to be the dominant/true representation of your consciousness/physical form/characteristics, along with the rulership(ruling planet) of that sign. It is an unfiltered expression of you.... it is much deeper than just an ascendant sign because it is representing you as the creation as a soul/body/human. The ascendant also describes you but you must take into account the midheaven otherwise you are only getting “the mask”... or shell... not the true story of who you are. The reason the ascendant is typically described as a mask and not the TRUE YOU is because by the time the Midheaven goes to the Ascendant. Going through the 11th and 12th house, also the 2nd and 3rd house!!!! 1+1=2 , 1+2=3. Numerology and astrology were meant to be COMBINED! So you get conditioned by your surroundings/parents/siblings/world, these in turn affect your being...
You gear up and shift into a mode of approaching that world, developing an identity and ego to travel (the horizontal ascendant-descendant axis) through this plane. So if the ascendant sign doesn’t describe you physically!!! I dare you to use your midheaven as your true ascendant !! Use draconic astrology as well if you want to look at your core .
So the other day I was playing w/ my tarot cards trying to figure out which chart I should use, sidereal, tropical or draconic?
The world and four of sword came out... I have books I’ve been reading & I’ve been combining my tarot practice with astrology. Combining both are amazing btw. Do it!
So the world card represents the planet saturn and the four of swords an air energy, represent the 3rd decan of Libra/Cardinal energy. ANYWAYS.
I go through all charts, looking at transits.
Tropical? NOPE!
Sidereal? NOPE!
Draconic? N- Wait a sec...
Yes Saturn is in Libra.. 27th degree in strength sign with Mars in 28th degree. Conjunct. World. Tower Moment. Also a cycle has been completed... in the sign of libra, justice and balance is the theme. Mars isn’t strong in Libra... in Scorpio though when it switches sides , Saturn will be far away from Mars. We’re going to pull through !
Also... Jupiter is conjunct Pluto exact... both the 21st degree. Jupiter is the Wheel of Fortune, Pluto is Judgement in Tarot.
Go within and be calm is the advice, this is a divine intervention that will result in a successful renewal !
I checked the transits for the upcoming month & scorpio mars will pull away from Saturn but Saturn(the world) will transition into Scorpio(death card).
Just my opinion but mercury in pisces people always know exactly what to say to make you feel better
