I'm not trying to attack you this is an actual question. In real life, outside of Tumblr and outside of safe spaces for lgbt people, what discrimination have you faced for being demiromantic greyasexual and straight?

Tumblr is real life. It isn’t exempt because of being on the internet. Also, my friends have made fun of me for not going out to bars and clubs with them because I rarely feel sexual attraction.

Seems like you haven't managed to progress past what you were taught in elementary school about inclusivity. We actually aren't on a playground anymore, the lgbt community isn't a game of freeze tag, and not letting literally anyone who wants to join isnt oppression

Why do people hate on you so much? Just for fucks sake get a life. I think that people just like to hate on someone for the stupidest reasons. For example having this never ending what is a slur and what is not argument. And some hating on you for your identity. I also think it’s stupid to think that ace people don’t belong in lgbt+ community just because they don’t get shade thrown at them as much. bussssssy ur not inherently lgbt bc of your asexuality bc u can love who u want WITHOUT systematic oppression and endangerment of ur life. if u experience SGA, then ur lgbt. the reason the community was formed in the first place was to stand up against hate and discrimination we faced. ur asexual grandmother wasnt at stone wall and u cant use "q/eer" bc its a slur that you cannot reclaim.

It’s not what makes me queer, but it is a facet of my identity. Some people are homoplatonic or heteroplatonic, for their own reasons.

Hey, can you explain this to me? You're cis and only attracted to the opposite gender, correct? So you're straight. Now you're also demiro grace, you need a strong bond with someone to fall in love and feel sexual attraction right? That's actually a really common experience, the circumstances that one needs to feel attraction vary from person to person regardless of orientation. That means most people can id as demi or gray, even straight people. If demi/grey is lgbt, are most people lgbt then?

I need a very strong bond and trust to fall in love, and I rarely feel sexual attraction, so I’m on the ace spectrum. I never stated I was cisgendered, and someone needs to be unmodified heteroromantic heterosexual to be straight.

It does much more harm to keep aspec people out of the LGBTQ+ community than to just let them in, and I don’t see why more people identifying as such is a bad thing.

If hetty is a slur then so is "redhead"/"ginger" or "stupid" lol. Making fun of you for a trait isnt inherently harmful because if arent discriminated or oppressed for it, teasing (which is what this is) isnt the same as a slur, which carries heavy/heavier connotations than just mocking/insulting/teasing. may i DM you and ask your age there? i can keep it a secret, idc, im not a dick.

A slur is an insult applied to a group of people. Stupid is not a slur unless applied to someone because they’re mentally ill, in which case it is an ableist slur. Redhead isn’t insulting.
