"Sometimes I Wonder..." is a 16x16 hand-pressed lenticular piece that delves into the exploration of hidden words and emotions. This angelic portrait appears as a three-dimensional image when viewed head-on, but as you shift your perspective, text emerges from the background. The hidden text reflects my thoughts on the artistic journey I was navigating last year when this piece was created.
This piece is all about subtext becoming substance, where what’s beneath the surface is just as crucial as what’s seen at first glance. The color palette here is one of my favorites, and the depth it achieves is something I’m particularly proud of. In person, it feels like you’re gazing at someone through a window, adding another layer of intimacy and intrigue.
