OOC Details:
Name: Kate Milens (Referred to as "The Chaser")
Birthday: June 25, 1995 (Currently In Late 20s)
Personality: Originally a quiet, compassionate person, with a tendency to be awkward, Kate devolved into a paranoid mess. Now Apathetic, Abrasive, Cold, Cruel, Erratic, Unstable, and practically Feral.
Important Details: Kate was originally hospitalized after having been found in the woods with just a broken video camera, a flashlight, and several disturbing and surreal drawings after her first encounter with The Slenderman. After being deemed stable, she was returned to her mothers care who soon after died. Kate quickly began to see the Slenderman again and was soon driven into paranoia and mysteriously vanished. She soon became a proxy for the Slenderman, referred to simply as "The Chaser." She stalks the Kullman Mines, seemingly waiting for a specific person to arrive.
Notes: Semi Verbal, can speak but usually chooses not to
Leo walked through the mine's flashlight and camera in hand as he talked to it . " So - Habit told me to check out this mine after making me watch his kid fer a bit!..." He mumbled careful with every step.

Kate had been within the mines, walking the darkened halls she'd become so accustomed to. She could hear something deeper within one of the tunnels, a voice? Had she finally come along, was her master finally giving Kate her task?
Instinctually, like a practiced predator, she began to stalk in the direction of the echoed mumbles. She soon found the source of it, able to just barely make out a silhouette in the light. It made her eyes sting, even if the light wasn't directly in her face.
That wasn't her. A twinge of disappointment flooded into her veins. It was just some poor unsuspecting person.
Green hair covered half the boys face , it was slightly tangled and brown roots were showing as he walked foward with practiced steps completely oblivious.
It was obvious he hadn't kept up his hair for a while, He hummed quietly when he heard the quiet snap of something-..... Oh shit- caught?...
Kate kept herself silent, just as she'd learned overtime. His humming, normally deemed quiet, seemed loud within the silent tunnels. She shifted her weight to her other foot, accidentally crushing a twig that had been brought into the mineshaft sometime ago.
The tiniest bit of her figure was revealed by the light as she moved, her dark hair hanging in front of her face, the stark white mask that was seemingly charred and burned, or maybe just smudged by soot. Her hoodie, what should've been white, was slightly yellowed before it faded into a mixture of black and red. Blood and presumably ash that had never been cleaned off it before. It was all that could be made out as she pulled away from the light.
He blinked his eyes meeting with kates as the flashlight flashed in her direction entirely by action. " Well this is - awkward..." He muttered blinking,
Habit hadn't promised safety from the -.... 'Stick in The mud...' Whoever that was supposed to be-... The Pale faced man seemed to be following him from what he could gather-.... Though- it was always from the corner of his eye-...
Leo always had seemed to lack any sense of self preservation as he walked closer to the fuzzy figure camera pointed at them.
The noise she let out was almost a hiss as she reeled back at the sudden light in her eyes. It pained her from how long she'd been in the dark of the mines.
She did however recognize the sight of the camera, that little bead of red that showed it was recording. It almost reminded her of the one she used to have. Kate's movements seemed less human, her posture was hunched, the way she stepped seeming more like a wild animal than a typical person.
Was he a threat? He was coming closer, maybe she should run... The light hurt, it burned into the back of her eyes and all he did was bring it closer to her.
"Mmm..." She murmured, no real attempt at words, but still emotions there.
" Oh-... Sorry-..." He muttered lowering the light away from her almost immediately ... maybe she got lost??... " Are you alright?..." He tilted looking concerned. It was difficult to see without the light but.. He'd manage
Her eyes tried to adjust to the sudden change in light, causing her to stumble back slightly. Behind the mask, her eyes were barely visible, just the two small reflections that proved there was anything beyond it. Why did he move it away? What was this person even doing here?
"...bright." Her voice was raspy, raw from disuse as she spoke. Kate's eyes flicked between the camera and his face, as if trying to discern the meaning of it all. There was something about him... she didn't recognize him in the slightest, yet there was still that nagging sense of understanding, even if she clearly didn't. "W-why..?"
He grabbed her hand almost immediately worriedly .. " Careful there-..... " He let go once he was sure she wouldn't trip. " Yeah-?... It hurt your eyes didn't it?.... I can lower the settings..." He hummed clicking at a button so it wasn't so bright.. It was harder to see .. He blinked tilting his head.. " Why-?.... what?..."
He didn't seem to grasp the situation yet.. Not that he hadn't grasped any of the monsters yet-... Those scars were burnt into his arm hidden beneath the arm warmers..
She tried to yank her hand away as soon as her footing was righted. All of it was so odd, so confusing. That nagging sense of familiarity was still present in the back of her mind. Seeing the flashlight dim gave her a brief moment of respite, letting her adjust her mask which ended up smearing soot across her hand.
"Why... you..?" Her voice cracked, sounding almost painful as she spoke. Kate pointed toward the camera, nearly reaching out to touch it before she decided against it.
